This thing is amazing! I bought it for my 12 year old but I want to drive it as much as he does! It has proportional speed and steering which is a must in an RC. It steers by running the tracks in opposite directions and you can "steer" while the vehicle isn't moving, resulting in the ability to spin in circles. When driving, you can steer quickly or slowly so it is very easy to control. I have owned many RCs in my life and this one doesn't disappoint. It is one of my first tracked vehicles and it runs amazingly. It has suspension in the tracks to allow it to run smoothly over very rough surfaces. It runs just as easily on grass and gravel as it does on pavement which is amazing! The only thing it isn't great at is climbing steep inclines because it has a tendency to tip backwards. But it makes up for this by traveling so effortlessly over rough terrain. The body is awesome looking and very detailed with an opening cockpit (both doors open independently). The battery is on the small side but still offers about a 15-20 minute run time depending on speed and terrain. I really like that they made room in the battery compartment for the charger so you don't have to worry about losing track of it. The controller is fairly typical for RC vehicles in this price point and works well. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and considering buying a second so we don't need to fight over it!

I was almost more impressed with this RC toy than my son who we purchased it for. The controller makes it easier to control than the joystick type. The crawler varies in speed if you adjust the trigger. Pulling back all the way suddenly makes the crawler jump forward and wheely, but within a few minutes my son had figured out how to start slowly and accelerate so that the tracks stay on the ground. The turning is really fun because you pivot the crawler in place in addition to making traditional turns.We found everything pictured in our box along with brief instructions. We were fooled at first, because the charging cable is stored inside the battery compartment when the toy arrives (see second picture). We find that about 2 hours of charging is sufficient. The indicator lights (red/green) on the charging cable help to know when the battery is fully charged. The crawler also reveals when it's low on battery. The white light above the cab will shine steady under normal conditions, but begin flashing quickly when the battery is low and it's time to recharge. The white light may not be a reliable headlight for rough terrain in the dark, but inside a dark room it does pretty well. My son has gotten probably more than hour of play off of a full charge.My son has taken the crawler across grass, gravel, and dirt and it performs very well. When the grass gets too long the crawler it starts to have trouble, but given the size of the toy that only makes sense. The suspension works really well, especially for climbing over obstacles from books to small rocks. This makes it more fun than the normal four wheel vehicle!Overall we are pleasantly surprised with this purchase and may need to get to another so we have a pair for the little brother too!

Makes it more portable and easy for kids to keep track of parts. Fast, easy and smooth controllability and turning. Feels very rugged. Fun both indoors and out. Kids love it, fun for dad too!

This is a solid RC is a mix between toy grade and hobby grade parts. Overall a lot of fun quick enough but not fast. Outdoor use recommended. The highest quality toy grade RC i have seen (only toy grade based on no access to spare parts) battery life is ok we get about 30 minutes of solid use between charges. Overall for the money it’s a good buy.Controls are good and has a good range of about 175 feet.

I’ve had this tank about eight months now. I love it. I fly rc airplanes, I’m not usually into rc cars, but this tank is cool. I bought it to get into the crawl space of our house to check for rattlesnakes. I mounted a spy camera and bright led flashlight to it. I used my iPad to drive it. Worked pretty good. No snakes! Both the tank and camera gets out of range about 30 feet under the house. If I go down the side of the house and get closer to the tank, both cam and tank reconnects. Besides using it for that, it is really fun to play with. It really hauls butt for a 7.2 volt car. Way better than other rc cars I’ve had. I play with it in the house too, driving it into different rooms using the cam. Spying on the wife😆. Kind of cool. Does 360s too.

Initially tank worked well, at least for the first 5 uses. Then the track came off and became unusable. Was unable to contact product support as well.

The vehicle was initially purchased for my grandson but I had to test it out, well that test became an excuse to keep this for myself my grandson will understand right????? Well he didn't understand like I thought he would so I had to purchase the tank and we're are having a ball with these vehicles.The Mars crawler shoots small water balls please read the instructions on how to utilize the provided ammo and you'll be fine overall these vehicles are worth the time,money and sharing with my grandson 😀 😊.Enjoy

I have been trying to reach this company about product support. I keep getting a message that I can longer return the product. I do not wish to return the product because my son loves it. It was one of his favorite bday presents. The other day he was outside and made a jump. We noticed afterwards the tread was not sitting right. Where one of the wheels bolts up it cracked and bent a screw. I’m trying to find the screws that hold it together so I can fix it. If someone could help me find the hardware I could probably fix it.
