Nice addition to my CJ5 to cover the tires
Installation takes a bit of time as you have to work your way around the wheel opening, marking and drilling 7 holes per flare. I recommend starting at the end with the curvature on the bottom for rear flares. For front flares, center up/align the marker light cutout and work from there. Fasteners are adequate, but I added washers under the hex head to keep them from sinking into the plastic when it gets hot. Couple tips worth mentioning. I recommend leaving them in the sun for a while as they are easier to fit and install. Also, on the rear flares there are two holes that basically align with the front seat belt threaded blocks that are welded into the rear wheel tubs. I just opened the space between the metal wheel well lip and that threaded block slightly, then installed the plastic fastener block upside down (v shape with point down). Helpful tip: Use an open end wrench inserted into the back of the plastic fastener with either a crescent wrench bolster (crescent wrench slipped onto flat of wrench 90°) to provide more holding power as the metal fastener cuts threads into the plastic blocks. This helped speed things up greatly once I got used to doing it. Hope this review helps.

BYER BEWARE. DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY
THESE WILL NOT FIT THE CJ 5.THE MATERIAL IS BRITTLE AND UNLIKE ORIGINALS.ONE REAR SPILT DUE TO THE RADIUS BEING OFF.NONE PULLED UP TO THE BODY SATISFACTORILY. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I BEEN RUNING JEEPS SINCE 1970. TERRIBLE COPY. TO RETURN WILL COST YOU AS WELL. AMAZON NEEDS TO STOP CARRING PARTS CLAIMING TO BE OEM OR REPLACEMENT. THEY AREN'T AND THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD POOR QUALITY PARTS THAT WEREN'T AS ADVERTISED. STOP IT.

Not the best fit. But they did install on a `73 CJ5
These do look good, but they are difficult to line up and get them to suck up to the fender. I ditched the screw provided, and used my own nuts and bolt. Washer helped " pull" them in place. My front fenders were aftermarket replacements, brand new and were not easy to line up and make look good. from the side and afar, these look good. but up close they are gapped and not tight to the bodyline. They are very sturdy, others I have installed were flimsy and soft ( but honestly this allowed for cleaner look)go buy nuts and bolts and stat screws to save alot of time and cussing.

Cheap hardware
The plastic nuts snap in half, The fender flares do not lay flush against the body. If you buy them make sure you get new hardware.
