A little stiffer👍
These spring are thicker than stock Cherokee. I was worried about them being too stiff, but the Cherokee does better on road with handling and they aren’t too stiff

Lifts about 3 inches, rides better than stock.
I installed these on my son's 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. It's been a month or two. They have lifted the Jeep about 3 inches and show no signs of settling.Physically these springs appear to be IDENTICAL in length to the stock springs, but with a thicker gauge of metal used in the coil. These springs can be used with stock front shocks, as their identical-to-stock overall length means they cannot extend further than the stock ones. While their thicker gage means they cannot be more compressed than stock springs. However, this will shift your front axle out-of-line towards the driver's side about a 3/4", unless you install a longer (or adjustable) trackbar. These can easily be installed in a Jeep Cherokee XJ without a spring-compressor, if you know how. To do it, lift the Jeep higher than usual and place jack-stands under the frame of the vehicle. Remove the wheels, and disconnect one side of both shocks, and also sway-bar links. Disconnect the two bolts holding the brake caliper to the knuckle.Remove the caliper and place on the lower control arm such that the pads grip it. Remove the spring hold-down bracket located on the spring perch. Then use a jack to lift one side of the axle to compress the opposite spring of the one you wish to remove. This will cause the other side of the axle do drop. You should be able to easily lift the spring out towards the front of the axle between the sway-bar bracket and the differential housing. Reinstall is the reverse of these instructions.

Met my needs
2- 1/2 inch springs only gave me about 1- 1/2 inches....I hope they don't sag anytime soon. About the same height as stock uninstalled but stiffer. Allowed 30 inch tires on 1999 XJ.
