Effortless and easy to use
As a scaffolding professional, I rely on quality tools to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site. The Makita DTW300Z Impact Wrench has proven to be an invaluable addition to my toolkit, delivering reliable performance and versatility for various scaffolding applications. One of the standout features of this impact wrench is its impressive torque output of 330Nm, which effortlessly tackles the tightening and loosening of scaffold bolts and nuts. This level of power ensures quick and efficient assembly and disassembly of scaffolding structures, saving valuable time and effort on the job. Despite its powerful performance, the DTW300Z is surprisingly lightweight and compact, making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces and at heights. The ergonomic design and rubberized grip provide comfort during extended use, reducing hand fatigue and improving overall productivity. The variable speed control feature allows for precise control over the torque settings, preventing over-tightening of fasteners and ensuring the integrity of the scaffold structure. This level of control is essential for maintaining safety standards and minimizing the risk of accidents on the job site. The build quality of the DTW300Z is exceptional, as expected from Makita. The durable construction and robust materials withstand the rigors of daily use in a demanding construction environment, ensuring longevity and reliability. Additionally, the built-in LED light illuminates the work area, improving visibility in low-light conditions or confined spaces, enhancing accuracy and efficiency during operation. In conclusion, the Makita DTW300Z Impact Wrench is a must-have tool for scaffolding professionals seeking reliable performance and versatility. Its powerful torque, ergonomic design, and durable construction make it an essential tool for assembling and maintaining scaffolding structures. I highly recommend it to anyone in the scaffolding industry looking to enhance their productivity and safety on the job site.

Fabulous
Obviously this piece of equipment isn’t cheap, however it does do what it says on the tin. I stupidly bought two copies previously the first lasted about 3 months and the second about four. There is no compromise if your using these on a professional basis. The torque settings are a life saver and as a scaffolder that’s a fantastic extra, no more nuts coming off the fittings with the auto stop once loose. Nice and lightweight great battery life. About two days of constant use. Don’t be fooled by a cheaper copy unit. By the time you e bought two that are cheap, you may as well have just bought the real deal.

Good, but not as powerful as hoped
After a few false starts from cheaper brands, I only ever buy makita. I bought this to tackle a specific job - namely to remove a seized alloy locking bolt. It made lots of noise, but failed to move it. After exhausting all home routes, I ended up taking the car to a local garage where their Milwaukee impact gun removed it with ease. So, this gun is good for lighter tasks, but if you are specifically trying to remove a seized wheel bolt, either buy a more powerful one or get in the experts.

Best on the market.
Makita impact wrench is the best you can buy. They just are! I've worked in all weathers and it's never let me down, they're that good I think they'd work under water (don't try that!)

Loads of power, compact size.
As a ex mechanic I've always used air tools I spent about £400 on a ingersol rand and there isn't much it wont touch. Used a battery one before and I got fed up with it, if it wasn't fully charged forget it. I wanted a battery one for the odd jobs I do in the driveway, so I thought I would try this as I have a makita drill so only needed the body. Well I'm in shock, I was prepared to be swearing at it and sending it back , this is more than enough, I needed to fir a bottom arm on a berlingo and undo the hub nut, well this actually undone every bolt with ease including the hub nut and they are 320nm. If you want something with abit of guts and a compact size you cant go wrong, body smaller than I thought so ideal for awkward places.
