I thought it was way to expensive for plastic

This have enough detail that they are lit little guitars, not just blobs of light and color. Because they were being added to a white tree and the cord they come with is green, we just twisted all the guitar light covers off and put them onto the tree lights with the white cord that were already on the tree.

Well, I guess what do you expect from a strand of guitar lights. It doesn't matter about them being plastic - they're adorable and my husband loves them, but sure wish there were more per strand. Could never afford to buy enough at one time. There's no way they are worth what I paid, but they made my hubby smile, so for a one time splurge, they were worth it, I guess. :)

This was a gift for my brother in law. He loved it and immediately hung them in the music room. I loved them and had a hard time giving them as a gift - would have loved to keep them for myself!

I was disappointed when these arrived to find the manufacturer on the box was NOT Kurt Adler nor did the guitars look as pictured. I decided to keep them (they had been an great price ($10.29). They are a fire hazard - they melted the covers and the bulbs blistered my finger. Unfortunately, I discarded the packaging so I'm stuck throwing them away :-(
