Built to last & a requirement for all road trips.
With 3 boys and over 100 trips of 100 miles or more and years of incredible abuse I can say these things are true:1: Everyone will learn geography.2. You will become a state capital master.3. This thing is made to last.4. You will create incredible memories.5. Great to occupy their time without screens.6. Combines great with the silent game!I was going to take pictures to show you how badly this thing has been abused over the last 5 years. It’s been stepped on, left in water and worse but I didn’t want anyone to think it was shipped to me that way.My 9 year old (now 14) still loves to play this game along with his younger brothers. Over the years we have added some additional games to play along because this game really is very meta.I was going to buy a new one but the boys told me not to. They are way to young to have nostalgia… lol

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!
This is the most adorable product! My 96-year-old mother and I were heading from Louisiana to Alabama for the weekend and happened to stop at this cute little country store to get some gas and stretch our legs. My mom saw this game and wanted to buy it to play on the trip, but they only had the display game left, and, unfortunately, it was not for sale. She was so disappointed! Upon our return home, I hopped on my computer and searched ever-trusty Amazon and -- voila! -- there was the exact same game, only dollars cheaper than the one at the store. I immediately ordered it using Amazon Prime (which I ADORE, by the way!), it was delivered a couple of days later, and I gave it to my mom for Easter. She couldn't have been more thrilled! Aside from being a game to play on the road, etc., she is so excited that it will help refresh her memory of the location of each of the United States. It's a great "brain teaser" for her, as well as a great game for everyone in the family, especially on trips and is VERY well made. The pieces are held onto the game by elastic, so that they can never be lost -- what a GREAT idea! I cannot recommend this product enough! Thanks so much, Amazon!!! xox

My 7 year old loves this!
My 7 year old collects things like real road signs and license plates. We live near a tourist town (near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge) in TN and we see so many different license plates. The other day he found 9 different license plates. In the summer he will probably find all of them. In the summer we seen four different cars with Hawaii license plates. So maybe he will be able to find them all.And also, he knows almost every capital to 42 different states and he just got this three days ago. Before that he only knew 24 states and capitals. Not only is it a fun game but also a good learning game.I would definitely recommend this if your kid is fascinated by different license plates or if you want to teach the states and capitals. Some of the plates are old. Tennessee changed theirs a year ago to a blue license plates and then there are special license plates but that doesn't matter. Just flip it over when you find the state. It keeps kids from being bored.

Love this game
Picked up a copy of this at a yard sale a few years back for $5. My nephew played with it in my car every time he was in it, even if it was only for a short 5-minute ride. We ordered this copy for him for Christmas, and he loves it. Not only is it a fantastic way to kill some time on a long car ride, but it is a great learning tool. Wish I had this when I was a kid!

Awesome purchase, best road trip present
This is a little bulky but made our road trip so fun. We have an 8 and 6 year old and found ourselves walking around parking lots as a family to find states. Even the adults we visited got into it and sometimes I wasn’t sure who was having more fun, the adults or the kids. All the states were accurate and we had no duplicates like it said in the reviews.

A fun new way to play an old game
Pretty sure playing the license plate game has been around since license plates were invented! This is an excellent way to track family progress or play competitively in teams. My kids are 11 and 14 and they will pull this out in the car anytime we are going somewhere for longer than an hour drive. We are very excited to use it this summer for a western desert road trip we are taking! We also found it's a great way to help the kids learn where the states are in the U.S. and learn more about the geography and state capitals.
