Wardrobe Malfunction (Wardrobe Series Book 1)

Loved this book and can't wait to read more of Ms. Towle's books
Being a wardrobe assistant for a movie where Vaughn West is the primary male star would be a dream come true for any woman. But for Charlotte 'Charly' Michaels, it's a living nightmare with Vaughn making her feel like she's a schoolgirl with a crush, prone to doing the stupidest things. Too bad Vaughn has sworn off women while the movie is being made, and Charly has every reason not to get involved with him. Yet, the more time they spend together, the more Charly finds herself falling in love. But how can they be together when Charly is hiding a big secret; a secret that could destroy their chance at happy ever after?Ms. Towle is a new-to-me author whose books I'm finally glad to have read beginning with this one. Because this romantic comedy was an amazing read that I loved from start to finish, due to the wonderful main characters that face some tough obstacles, the well-written dialogue that had me alternating between laughing and crying, and the fast-paced plot that really flew by until I couldn't believe how quickly I was at the end. Really, this story was addictive and I loved the way it started with what happens to Vaughn, which sends him into a downward spiral until someone finds a way to help him.As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories. Charly lost those she loved growing up, and the only family she has is her best friend; a guy she would do anything for, which is proven by the secret she's keeping. However, there were so many good light-hearted moments that had me laughing or smiling, especially the moment Vaughn and Charly met for the first time in this story and what the heroine does to him, because he makes her nervous. Luckily, Vaughn finds it within himself to forgive her and can tease her about that moment throughout.Charly is strong, brave and she's accomplished a lot in her life, considering all that she's been through with losing her mom the way she did. She's also hard-working and I loved learning more about her and how passionate she is for all things fashion. While Vaughn, he's been through a lot in his life too. What his ex-best friend and ex-girlfriend did was unforgivable, but I liked that he managed to pull himself back from the brink of total destruction when it came to his career. Yet, what I liked most was the close relationship he had with his family and how easily they accepted Charly, because it's palpable how much he cares for the heroine.Overall, Ms. Towle totally impressed me with this book where the scorching sex scenes illustrated the strong chemistry these two had from the moment they met superbly. The way this story ended brought tears to my eyes, because of Vaughn's reaction to Charly's secret. Why couldn't he understand that she had her reasons for doing what she did to help a friend? However, in saying that, I liked that Vaughn listened to a certain secondary character's advice in making things right with Charly, as they're a couple meant-to-be and nothing should be able to keep them apart. Then there's the epilogue which wraps this story up nicely, and Vaughn's speech was absolutely heart-warming. It goes to show that Charly means everything to him. I would recommend Wardrobe Malfunction by Samantha Towle, if you enjoy books with plenty of heat or if you enjoy reading books by Alessandra Torre, Vi Keeland or Penelope Ward.

” “He kisses me like he always does
“I didn’t stand a f***ing chance against her. From the moment I met her, this was always inevitable.”“He kisses me like he always does. intensely. Like he’ll die if he doesn’t.”“I’m just a normal guy who’s in love with an extraordinary girl.”Wardrobe Malfunction hits all the marks. From an obnoxious actor to a wardrobe assistant that isn’t afraid to pull out all the stops. This story has it all. So, if swoon-worthy and smart mouth characters are your thing, than sit back, relax and get ready to enjoy one entertaining read. From the moment I started reading this book, I was hooked. From that very first encounter with Charly and Vaughn, I just knew their story was going to be a great one. The banter between the two of them was verbal foreplay at its finest. The sexual chemistry between the two of them was just explosive and burned up the pages. I couldn’t wait to see what either one of them would say or do next. You see Vaughn is the guy that has it all: money, fame, women. Because he’s been burned before, he doesn’t trust very easily, especially when it comes to women. So, when Vaughn comes to his next acting role, he’s only got one goal: keep his eyes on the prize and his dick in his pants….Easier said then done. When he meets Charly, all bets are off. She’s got a fire inside of her that Vaughn can’t help but ignite. And the more time Vaughn spends with Charly, he quickly sees that she is nothing like the women he knows. She’s beautiful and intelligent and has a heart of gold. She is extraordinary. The road to happily ever after of course won’t an easy one for Vaughn and Charly. In a world where people lie and cheat to get ahead, a simple misunderstanding will put everything these characters know into question….Wardrobe Malfunction sucked me in from the moment I picked it up and is by far one of the most entertaining reads I read so far this year. I loved everything about it. I laughed. I swooned. I had my heart broken. I fell in love. From the amazing characters to the well written story-line, I just couldn’t get enough. The characters are so much fun and have excellent chemistry. You can’t help but fall in love with them. They are the kind of characters that just keep you coming back for more. The secondary characters are also pretty amazing. I fell in love with Vaughn’s family the moment they entered the picture and I adored Vaughn’s firecracker grandma; she certainly stole my heart and kept me entertained.Wardrobe Malfunction is just one of those books that makes you feel good and will leave you with a big smile on your face. It has the perfect balance of angst, romance, drama and steamy sexy times. It is sexy, sinful and funny as hell. In the end, you will be left with a huge smile on your face and will have been given all of the feels.

Perfect Rom Com
This book got me out of a terrible book funk. I loved it. Loved the hero, Vaughn and the heroine, Charly. I am usually not a fan of Rom Coms as I find the humor over the top and fake but this was not the case here. To me this is the perfect Rom Com. The sense of humor in this book was perfect for me and never seemed force which is what I loved about it. Charly and her reactions made me laugh throughout the book. I also loved the fact that it was a true romance and when it needed to be taken seriously it did. Another factor that I loved was the fact that I got to enjoy the hero and heroine being together throughout the book. I got to experience how their romance flourish from that first encounter to the point where there was no longer a denial that they fell hard for each other. It had a surprising twist that I never saw coming and a happy ending that melted my heart. I loved it from beginning to end. Perfect read in my eyes. Vaughn and his Pins, I mean Charly captured my heart. Another winner for Samantha Towle.

Pleasurable, fun and lighthearted. The perfect escapism!
It all started with a twerk, a precariously misplaced pin and a cock warmer...And ended with me hugging my kindle in glee because not only is this romantic comedy a jovial, fun and sexy read but it was the perfect lighthearted escapism that I never knew I was craving, until now!I'm a sucker for Hollywood romances and yes, I've read a few but Wardrobe Malfunction by far is now one of my absolute favourites.Vaughn and Charly's story is a laugh a minute but it has so much heart and honesty that you cannot help but fall in love with them in equal measure. Yes, our hero is gorgeous, witty and highly amusing but it was Charly who I admired as she held her own admirably given her position and I do love a strong heroine who isn't afraid to take a gamble on Hollywood's golden boy.I don't want to go into a story overview because this is one you have to just delve in and enjoy for yourself as you travel from New York, to Vegas to Oregon and back. Charly and Vaughn's journey is a pleasurable, fun and lighthearted read that will put a smile on your face and another notch on the romcom favourite list.Samantha Towle does it again!5 shiny pins.I mean, stars!!! ;)

Well worth a read
Charly is a wannabe designer who works as a Wardrobe Assistant. An unexpected opportunity is going to land her a job on the next big movie with Hollywood heartthrob Vaughn West. Their first meeting doesn’t go well but despite their rocky start, the pair are inexplicably drawn to one another.I love Samantha Towle’s books, and while this one was really good, I didn’t think it lived up to her usual standard as the plot twist was a tad too obvious to me. That aside though, it was seriously well written with a fantastic cast of characters who draw you in and take you with them on their rollercoaster ride. When things take a turn for the worse, you feel like your heart is breaking right along with theirs. I love it when stories get you emotionally involved, Towle is really good at doing this. I think the first meeting between Vaughn and Charly was one of the best parts of the book. It was so funny and awkward; I know it’s a scene that’s going to stick with me as it’s definitely memorable. Actually there were a few memorable moments but I’m not going to spoil them for you by listing them here. Character wise, Charly is a nice, normal girl who has a bit of bite to her and while you can see the attraction between her and Vaughn, you will occasionally wonder what she sees in him. Vaughn is a nice guy but he has issues and sometimes those issues cause him to say and do some horrible things. So be warned, there will definitely be times when Vaughn is not your favourite person. This is a book packed with humour and emotion. You will laugh, you will cry and you’ll probably need to keep YouTube handy as the story mentions more than half a dozen songs that will help you interpret the mood of the situation/character. Personally, I loved Vaughn and Charly’s story and am hoping that we might get to see a little more of them in Breaking Hollywood.Profanity: ProlificSexual content: Frequent and explicitViolence: Negligible

Samantha Towie at her finest!! 5*+ Tissues needed towards the end!
Wow what a great story... it's everything you could possibly wish for from this brilliant author. As Waldrobe Malfunction opens up I was immediately transported back to The Mighty a Storm, it has all the feels of Tru and Jake and I absolutely loved it... this is what I've been waiting for.!You instantly fall in love with Charly and it's not long until you realise she has a back story some things we get to know early on but there's much more, which we are kept waiting on, what we do know is that Nick is the only person she counts as family.Charly's a great character, full of life dispite her past and as she lands her dream job as Wardrobe assistant to Hollywoods Heartthrob Vaughn West there's a mixture of happiness and anticipation. There are some extremely funny scenes early on, I was laughing so much but as the storyline builds so does the chemistry between Charly and Vaughn but because Vaughn has been told to behave he treats Charly as forbidden fruit but of course that doesn't last long. This story creates plenty of mixed emotions, Charly and Vaughn are really good together and it frustrates you that they are having to sneak around, you know Charly has her reasons and this only causes more intrigue. When Vaughn takes Charly home to meet his family and to his sisters wedding you can't help thinking... this is going too well. There are a couple of times where Samantha Towie throws you especially Grandma's boyfriend Ed, I thought for a minute he was going to be someone Charly knew and that is because we still don't know everything about her past.Well you are right to think it was all going to smoothly, you knew the inevitable is going to happen.. it does big time! From this point on this story takes a different turn, it becomes heartbreakingly emotional, you feel for both of them equally and you can understand Vaughn's outburst but he doesn't know the full story... by this time we do!For a moment I thought this might be a cliff hanger, the whole mystery between Charly and Nick was heartbreaking and you would never have guessed that was it and when Charly turns up at Vaughn's home and he turns her away... Well by this stage I was really crying my eyes out.All I can say is thank goodness for Grandma's words of wisdom, just as Charly thought she had lost everything Vaughn came through... oh it was a beautiful moment and as for the epilogue we couldn't have asked for more.. absolutely fabulous!I look forward t what ever comes next.Thank you Samantha Towie!

Well Hello!
Any book that can get me to read that the moment deserves more than 5 stars but 5 is all I can give so we will go with that.I am late to the Samantha Towle train and all I can think is WHY?!I absolutely loved Wardrobe Malfunction! There is something very special about the way Samantha write and the way she completely captivates you with her words, characters and the story that she creates.Vaughn is just edible. The man is the hottest commodity in Hollywood and it's not hard to see why. He's hot, he's charming and well he should be illegal! His family are adorable! In fact I would happily marry him to become a part of his family! His gran had me in stitches. And Charly? Wow! She had me in stitches throughout the book! Her character is so easy to relate to and you very quickly fall in love with her. She's clumsy, hilarious, so unbelievably stubborn and a devil with a needle, just ask Vaughn! This is a story (much like many of Samantha's others) that will make you fall head over heels in love, restore your faith in love stories and make you want to fall I love all over again. It may also break your heart just a little bit it will certainly men's it again!

who has a wonderfully lovable family
This absolutely talented author has done it again, with a different style novel to all of her others. This is humourus, with subtle whimsical narrations between characters. Vaughan is an actor hunk, who has a wonderfully lovable family. Charly is a wardrobe dresser allocated to be Vaughan's dresser, who only has Nick, for her family. She has a few secrets, one of which may affect an out come of falling in love. There is an awful lot of emotional experiences, described beautiful in this appealing storyline. A fantastic ending, beginning and middle, as ever by Samantha.
