LRP & LLRP
I have read all the books by Gary Linder Ken Miller and Rey Martinez They are true heroes and true patriots of the United States of America I think each and everyone of those gentlemen told him their stories I did not know that we had people in the military with such courage and dedication and devotion to each other it was a true pleasure to read these books make God bless all three of those fine patriots

Six Silent Men Book Three
This is the book that tied all three together. You laugh, cry and feel the terror these young men feel or at least I did. One of the best I’ve read, but the lack of some REMF officers who put them in direct contact with the NVA piss me off. I personally love all these guys and want to say thank you and welcome home!!

Six Silent Men
Well written and obviously well researched. I enjoyed the book very much. Only complaint involves proof-reading of the Kindle version. The text is riddled with misspelled words, random use of parenthesis, no close perenthesis, random symbols instead of letters of the words. Example: the word the is repeatedly printed as die throughout the book. Many times a slick was referred to as a suck. This is, in the least, annoying and takes time to try to translate some of the words. Don't know who to fault for this but I really enjoyed the book and the stories of the LRP and LRRP, and Rangers. Some of the bravest and the best. I am going to purchase the previous volumes at a later date and hope they do not have the same problem.

Good book. Third of a series.
Great book. The third and final book of a series covering the history of LRP teams in Vietnam written by different members of those teams. I found the whole series quite interesting and worth the read. Long Range Patrols were small teams that were dropped, often deeply, behind enemy lines. Their mission was to find and report intelligence about the enemy. They were often involved in engagements with enemy forces that vastly outnumbered them. The quality of writing is generally high; although, there is some variance from book to book. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Vietnam war.

Good Book
Solid book on the LRRPs/Rangers of the 101st. Anyone with stones to do what they did has my vote and respect. A very different breed of men.

A bit repetitive.
I enjoyed reading Mr. Lederer's books in order. I was a bit disappointed that book 3 contained much of the same information from the first two. All are worth the read, though.

I loved everyone of these books
Less of his own experience, more interesting patrols depicted. More dramatic as more and more of these brave guys die on duty. Recommended - especially with the other two.

I have read Vietnam books as good as this one for sure
Anything by Gary Linderer is genius. I have read Vietnam books as good as this one for sure, but never better. Difficult to see how anyone could possibly be disappointed with a book as good as this one.
