Once I realized how to use the compression tool properly everything went smoothly. Striping tool is not the greatest , kind of cheep and hard to work with.

need to redo some cable as the house and I felt like a pro with this stuff. good value for few times you will ever use it.

Fittings, barrels and crimp tools are great. Stripper is a pile of crap

I was very disappointed with this. I am a network engineer by trade and audio/video is a second passion. I was doing a basement finish on my house and bought this to replace my ageing setup. First, the stripper is worthless. The set screw that adjusts the second cut off blade doesn't stay tight and you end up with cuts that either cut too deep and too shallow. They vary from cut to cut. This was on RG6Q. I tested it on normal RG6 and it preformed better but the blade still moved around which is unacceptable.The crimpers were also a disappointment. They were difficult to load and had a nasty habit of allowing the compression fitting to slide forward during the crimp instead of pushing the insert in and securing the connector. If you are doing an end in a wall box with limited cable to work with this can be a very bad deal. I went back to my ideal tool and all was well.The connectors were fine, although if you are using RG6Q, be prepared to fight it a little.

Got the job done

The stripper broke the first time I used it. Finished stripping the cables the old fashioned way with a utility knife. The crimper worked very well though. I think I'll spend a bit more, and buy something better made.Revised: I just used the crimper for the second time. Broke. The threads holding the foot in stripped. I am not hard on tools by any means. The quality just isn't here. I absolutely do not recommend this product.

works great. no problems and now I know that the connections are tight. the stripper isn't the best quality, but it works for now.

works well for the most part but was not strong enough for a mid air connection, another means of backing up the connection was required
