How are you going to balance it?
First off, the hand mold is very good-- it's bigger than I expected and takes 2 full packages of Jello, and looks like a realistic hand. The problem, though, is that it doesn't lend itself to balancing in the refrigerator. I poured the liquid Jello into it and... had no idea what to do. It doesn't have a flat bottom or a stand, so you have to figure out how to get it balanced just right so the Jello doesn't spill out of it or harden "crooked." None of my bowls were just right for the mold to sit in, so I ended up making this crazy concoction that involved one of my stove burners and assorted jars in my fridge to keep it balanced.Aside from Jello, you just need cooking spray, and you get it out of the mold easiest by washing your hands, then wetting your fingers and sort of coaxing it out onto a plate. Turned out very well.

very spooky
I made a meatloaf in this mold for a Halloween party and it was a hit. I was told it was the best hand they ever ate!

Perfect
I used it for a meatloaf mold. It was so gross looking that nobody wanted to eat it. Haha, but kinda the point for a Halloween party!

Cool but unstable
I really liked the concept, but in practice this has a few flaws. The design makes it hard to de-mold. The is probably mostly my fault for being sort of an armature. Additionally, the mold doesn't have any supports which would allow it to sit level. It sits OK without, but I ended up propping it up on other items in the fridge.

Hard plastic--effective--large!
Hard plastic mold. I used it for chocolate. This mold is quite large--I ended up putting chocolate down thinly, then adding jam (for "blood") in the middle, with more chocolate on top. The fingers were hard to cut after that--but everyone loved eating it! Guess I should have just tried to break the fingers off... (Used this for a "forensics feast")
