Good value for money
It has been successful in helping to reduce the radon levels in my house. It is a bit noisy when on full but hardly noticeable when on. Sleep mode. Does not take up much space

No Instructions
We have another, different make, air purifier in our living room which we are really pleased with and ordered this for the bedroom. It may be OK but it came with absolutely no instructions, no specification information. No paperwork at all. Double checked the box and searched inside the unit (where the mains adapteris stored) but nothing.Plugged in to the mains adapter which has a rather short cables so must must be used very close to a power point and press one of the buttons on the top and it turns on and the fan spins but what do I do now. When would I expect to clean the filter, do I brush it or is it washable, how long does the filter last and is there a way of knowing if it needs replacing, is there a part number for the filter and how do I order a new one and what does it cost. Are there any particular circumstances when I would run it fast or slow. All I really know is that it blows air around and the lead is too short.

Does a good job but can't turn off the touch button lights
This ERGO LIFE Air Purifier appears to be of decent quality build material; It is sturdy. The design is excellent; looks lovely. It's neither big nor small, seats nicely any corner of the house without taking too much space. And it seems to work very well; I can feel the difference in air quality. When it's in operation, I have noticed that it makes the room a bit cool, which is excellent on summer days, but I am not sure about cold winter days; some might find the room very cold. The unit has a three-speed mode; the sleep mode is low speed. At low speed, It doesn't make too much noise; if you are used to the noise of A.C or fan, you won't be bothered; for me, the noise at sleep mode is sweet, and I can sleep with it.The medium and high-speed mode is a bit noisy. Not suitable at night but day time they are perfect and does the job very well.My only niggle is the lights on the touch buttons wakes me up at night. I like to sleep in the dark, and it's a shame that I can't disable the lights; it stays ON all the time. It's not bright, but still, I can't sleep with it.My other critic is the unit doesn't have any inbuilt carry handle or slot that I can hold with my fingers to move around.I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

An advantage over others
When first looked at one can be forgiven for thinking this product is no different to others. The settings look similar and it has a HEPA filter. However, this air purifier is different not only in it's larger size but because it has UV technology.Basically, the way this filter works is exactly the same as any other air purifier. It's like a vacuum cleaner that sucks in dirty air. The filters remove dust particles and pollutants before pumping clean air out. The UV light improves this over the competition in that UV light will kill bacteria. As those with the most basic knowledge of biology already know, viruses are not the problem as viruses need live hosts and do not kill, bacteria does kill as it needs dead / rotting flesh to survive. Viruses like the recent, numerous pathogens, coronavirus outbreaks have caused alarm for many people and even some so called expets have falsely led people to believe a virus kills when in fact it's not the virus that does it, it is either the bacterial infection that one can get as dead virus trapped in mucus attracts bacteria or it's one's own defence system attacking itself as it goes OTT to protect the body. That is where this product becomes very useful, much more than others, as it reduces the number of airborne bacteria. Unlike a vacuum cleaner that harbours bad bacteria and pumps it out as one thinks he / she is cleaning this air purifier first kills any bacteria entering it then cleans the air from pollen, dust and other polutants.By killing the bad bacteria and then filtering the polutants means this purifier actually pumps out pure, clean air with no smells that are associated with bacteria. All one will breathe after this has been running for a short while is pure, clean, uninfected air.I find this product is much quieter when running so if one doesn't want to use the sleep mode one can always lower the setting and let this run through the night whilst one has a good sleep whilst breathing the clean air.I am recommending this air purifier as it is good quality and due to the added UV light it is a major improvement, it is also quieter. For the clean air it produces and the fact that this can kill airborne bacteria without the use of chemicals it is good value.
