Better than expected.

Very nice product, I love this books. This book teach me a lot about electrical contracting business.I love This book.

A little to much on the technical side. I was asked to be my son's business manager.His bid fail to take in a profit margin. He considers his hours and labor as his profitrather than an expense to the business. I hoped to be able to gain enough knowledgeto help him be profitable but fair.

This is not a step-by-step aid to start and operate an electrical contracting business. This was more of a very vague general business book. It seemed to focus more on the authors opinions and difficulties of starting and operating a business than any concrete solutions. Was hoping for a clear path on how to “start and operate an electrical contracting business” as the title stated. A more appropriate title might have been “Difficulties to Consider Before Starting an Electrical Contrasting Business”. Issues with hiring employees, creating an employee handbook, and marketing the business are not what I was in need of. Had high hopes, quite disappointed.

This book is a good study for another perspective on operating an electrical business. Getting opinions and help from many different sources can dramatically inproove your results in the long run.

This book was not any help. It doesn't lay out how to do anything. A waste of money. You are much better off getting Markup & Profit.
