Bought this timer for my kids. They love it! I haven't tested it for accuracy buy I believe it is very close the advertised time. My kids love the ease of use, just flip it! I like the size but could be a little more stable.

They are cute and it's a great way to teach toddlers about time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:There are great for the kids to time their brushing. Only down side was one of the broke after falling off the countertop. The glass vial inside broke, it was contained by the outer plastic cylinder. Would be better for a plastic hourglass inside or something to absorb the shock holding the internal vial.

Great buy. Encourages my kids to brush their teeth more thoroughly and they have fun while doing it.

I must have tested these two timers at least 20 times. I have a stop watch. At first, the pink one was running about 25 seconds slow, so 2 minutes and 20 seconds. The yellow one would not even work until I basically slammed it down and then it would run for two minutes and 45 seconds. Now the pink one keeps stopping and I have to keep tapping it to continue to run. They are basically taking turns not working. Now, for the last time I just turned them both over and neither one was working until I tapped on the top to get the sand flowing. So don't waste your money on these 2 minute sand timers. I'm going to have to check Amazon for a better quality timer, even if it is a one minutes timer and I have to turn it twice. But I need two minutes. Very disappointed.Tried testing them again the following morning. Neither one will start on their own without me tapping them. So they are worthless. I ordered a different one from Amazon, which is scheduled for delivery sometime today. I wasted about $6, which I should get a credit for.

Product works. Don’t drop them. However somewhere the blue one broke before we even got it. The hourglass inside was crushed, still in the plastic holder thankfully because blue sand and glass would have been everywhere. The package it was shipped with plenty of package insulation so my guess was even before it was packed someone dropped it.

Bought this for my daughter to make sure she brushed long enough. Simple to use and she takes care of everything on her own now
