Actually covers up post-daycare doggy stink!
I have a super fluffy Aussie mix who goes to doggy daycare every few days, and despite the facility being clean and top notch, she smells... less than fresh after getting picked up. Think old doggy saliva combined with "just swam in a lake" smell, with a hint of number two. Yeah.I've tried a number of deodorizing sprays thus far: OmegaPaw Bath+, Top Paw Super Deodorizing Spray, TrueBlue Fresh in a Flash, MrGreen Dog Deodorizer, Vet's Best Flea/Tick Spray (technically not a deodorizing spray, but I was willing to try it during my futile search), and even the Dermoscent Essential6 Spot-On. Some of them smell nice, but fade very quickly (OmegaPaw, TopPaw, Dermoscent); others leave the coat feeling sticky and don't fully cover the smell (MrGreen, Vet's Best); and some are just nasty (TrueBlue... sigh).Enter Furminator deShedding Spray: THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS! It doesn't just combine with, but actually COVERS the yucky daycare smell, and has fantastic lasting power. The scent is very clean without being overbearing or "fake" smelling. I'm actually not a fan of most "fresh" scented sprays/candles/etc. because they smell really fake, but this smells like, I don't know, something natural and slightly tropical, maybe? It's not fruity or foody, it just smells like a nice shampoo. How I use this for best results: First I spritz it all over my dog's coat, then rub-rub-rub her all over with a towel to "dry her off" and work out some of the dirt. Then I spray some product directly onto a pin brush and brush out her coat.

MUST BUY!!
I have three 2-year-old Huskies that were terribly shedding because spring and summer is here and I bought this item along with the furminator shampoo and conditioner and it has been an absolute lifesaver! I would never rate a product that I don't absolutely 100% stand behind but for me this stuff has been awesome! It makes a difference using the shampoo and conditioner as well and brushing but the spray smells wonderful and it leaves them feeling soft and silky as well as helps shedding. I have not picked up even a quarter of the hair since I have started this regimen with my dogs. I highly, highly recommend it to people with shedding dogs, but don't forget helping by brushing is still a necessity but not nearly as much as you would have to do without these items!

Works Pretty Well When Not Giving a Full Bath
I was very happy to find this waterless spray by Furminator for our wonderful in all ways but one (shedding) Border Collie. The good and reason for a four star review is that it does seem to work very well. The problem is that I ended up pouring some of the solution into a small bowl and applying it manually with my hands. The spray nozzle does not release enough per trigger and therefore becomes a pain (literally and figuratively) to apply to a wiggly fur baby. That said, when I poured a pretty small amount into a bowl it worked like a charm. I rubbed it in from neck to tail and brushed him out afterward. As we brush him daily, we found that the following day there was much less hair in the grooming comb. I don't know that there is truly a shed eliminator available on the market, but this tool went a long way in helping us keep our sanity and avoid taking our Border Collie to work with us every day (fur on work clothes). Although that would be nice to actually take him to work, now that I think of it. :)Otherwise, this is a sticky substance and can get a bit weird in the fur. It does not have a good scent, nor is it bad. It's really pretty neutral.I hope you found this review helpful. If so, please click the Helpful button below.

Works REALLY WELL!! Cat loves it
My Punkin Chunkin is a fluffy orange cat and her hair is out of control. I hate shedding season, but this stuff makes it so easy!! I sprayed it onto her fur and rubbed it in. she liked it and enjoyed the smell, which is very pleasant and not at all chemically. It's a little thicker than water and really soaks into the fur roots, loosening it all up and making it easy to brush.I used this AND my equi-groomer and it only took a few sessions of brushing to almost completely remove the undercoat. I didn't even know she could shed that much, the hairball was literally as big as her 😹😹 WILL be buying again!! Awesome product!!

Not a noticeable difference
I have a black and white Siberian Husky. I had high hopes for this, but I really didn't see any difference in the amount my dog was shedding. I sprayed it one, rubbed it in, and let it dry. He smelled pretty good but it didn't really do much, it actually seemed to make his coat more dry than the stuff I usually use. If wanted to recommend a product that has helped it would be Earthbath Vanilla Almond Dog Spray. We spray that stuff on him, brush him out, and his coat is super shiny, moisturized, and smells AMAZING. It really does make his coat healthier, and therefore he sheds less. I used this product once we ran out of the Earthbath stuff, but we will definitely get just get more Earthbath from now on.

It may work so goo that I would recommend using it sparingly the first time!
The media could not be loaded. I sprayed it generously over her entire coat. I took her for a ten minute walk, while allowing the product to do its thing. I grabbed my deshredder brush and back outside we went. I quickly realized that the brush was pointless and used both my hands instead! I did this for over 10 minutes and still the fur kept coming off at a good clip! As seen in the video, I probably needed to do this for 20 minutes!Next time I won't bother with the brush and use my hands exclusively. Conclusion, I definitely recommend it. It may work too well. And make sure that you deshed outdoors. It has a pleasant smell and my dog enjoyed the rubbing massaging of her coat! If you use your hands, like I did, it does leave residue that easily washes off.
