Adams Water Spot Remover Review
the Adams product did a great job removing water spots from my vehicles

It works.
I purchased a Lexus GX used from a dealer. Paint was great but windows were covered in baked and etched in water spots. Tried vinegar, window cleaner, compound, etc. nothing worked. While this takes some elbow grease and possible more than one application, it DOES work and works well. I was close to going to a professional but this saved me that headache.

Great results, not a quick fix, but worth It
I had been trying to remove stubborn water spots from my car windows for a while, but regular car wash soaps and cleaners just didn’t work. That’s why I decided to give this Water Spot Remover a try—and I have to say, it works impressively well on hard water stains, especially those dried-on mineral spots that wouldn’t budge with anything else. The gel-like consistency helps it stay in place long enough to break down the residue effectively. One thing I personally appreciated is that the product doesn’t have a harsh or unpleasant smell, which I’m usually pretty sensitive to with strong cleaners. Still, given its strength and acidity, I’d definitely recommend wearing gloves and taking standard precautions.I followed the usage instructions and applied the product to a microfiber towel before working on small sections of the glass. Since the directions say not to leave it on any area for more than 30 seconds, I worked in small patches. After rubbing in the product, I used a damp paper towel to wipe the area again, followed by a dry microfiber cloth to make sure any acidic residue was removed. This method worked well for me—there were no streaks or leftover marks. For tougher spots, you might need to apply a bit more pressure or repeat the process a few times. Personally, I did find the process a bit tedious due to the time constraints on each section—it took me a while to get my windows fully clean. But in the end, both I and a friend who also used it were able to remove those frustrating water stains, so we definitely feel it’s effective. Just be cautious, follow instructions, and work patiently—for real results.

Water spots are no match
As long as you follow the instructions, water spots are no match. Got rid of all water spots on my new car and paint is as good as new again.

Product Didn’t Work
I used this product to try remove water stains on the side mirror of my car and it left a foggy “stain” on my side mirror. Please see attached photos.

Don't buy this solely for shower glass
First, it does an excellent job at water spots on car windows. However, on shower glass where there are spots with soap scum, it does not work...at all! I tried different areas on the glass, I let it sit for different lengths of time, and used a lot of muscle wiping it off. Absolutely no difference at all! All of the spots were still there. I do recommend this for car windows, and I do not recommend it for shower glass.

Works as advertised for real... really real
This stuff worked EXCEEDINGLY well for me on my 2022 Mercedes GLC 300 with black paint and really bad water spots. (We have hard water where I live.) Worked great on paint and glass. Just follow the instructions PRECISELY. I did about a 4 square-foot area at a time. I divided my hood into four sections. Work vigorously for 30 seconds then IMMEDIATELY neutralize with a water. The stuff is strong. Takes "some" Karate Kid elbow grease but not too bad at all.My recommendation is to go to one of those do-it-yourself carwashes that provide shade and soft water (most do). Wash and dry your vehicle like normal. After the wash, I applied the product generously to a dry microfiber cloth, worked the selected area vigrously using a cross-thatch pattern for about 30 seconds, then I immediately wiped the entire area with a water-drenched cloth, squeezing and wiping and and rewetting the cloth to make sure the product was neutralized and wiped away thouroughly.Don't use a wet rag to apply the product - the water will neutralize the product. Do not wet the surface first - again, the water will neutralize the product. As you buff it, it will form a slight glaze by the time 30 seconds is up. As long as your drench the spot with water and neutralize the product, you should be fine.I read one negative review somewhere saying it ruined their glass or something. I truly don't understand some people. Maybe that person tried to apply it to their entire vehicle and left sitting not just for 30 seconds, but a lot longer. I don't know. All I do know is this product worked for me as I precisely followed the directions. Go figure.
