I’ve been using this salt cellar since May 2025 and it’s quickly become one of my favorite kitchen items. The bamboo design looks great on the countertop and the magnetic swivel lid is incredibly satisfying and convenient—it opens with one hand and stays shut securely when not in use.It holds a good amount of salt (I keep kosher salt in mine) and the wide opening makes it easy to pinch and grab while cooking. There are less expensive salt containers out there which are fine if you don’t mind sawdust mingling with your salt. Eew! I quickly returned my less expensive purchase, searched and found this little gem made using the beautiful coloring inherent in Acacia wood, known for its strength, durability and natural beauty. Carved with fine workmanship, the lid slides open and closed with ease, the little spoon (too cute) stays in place lying nestled inside the container for ease of use, not to mentioned the smooth finish both inside and out which is free of saw dust. This container is large enough to hold a good amount of salt, yet small enough that it takes up little space. Definitely something you’ll want to display on your countertop. This is a great design - simple yet very clever. The lid is attached by one pin that allows you to easily open it with one hand without spilling the cooking salt I store in it. It keeps the salt dry and is large enough to get me through a weeks worth of meal. I bought one for my uncle with the glass eye and he keeps it safe within when he prefers to not wear it.

it works, for the money it is made well. it is inexpensive, decent size. I am not sure if the more expensive ones can to anything this one can't . Lets be real, its a box, that's it.

Color was as shown. It was easy to open. Quality of wood is nice. The magnet isn't as strong as I would like thus deducting the 1 star. I dropped it on the floor and it shifted open. I store tajin it so I can rim my tequila shots. Love it and worth the money and gifting it to others who like shots.
