After fishing for almost thirty-five plus years I have learnt a few things and if, like me, you normally search the areas for where you are taught to think there should be fish and often find there is nothing being caught, or you are fishing an area with limited fish numbers then take it from me in that this unit will open your eyes up! I am now finding fish in places where I would never be expecting them, and as a result I have more success. It has allowed me to successfully map the area before I fish, be that still water and or rivers. Be aware that anything under 50cm below the unit will not be shown, but what will be shown is the depth, temperature as well as fish when they are within the scan cone's range, of which you have a choice of a wide scan and a narrower more precise cone for fine-tuning. The distance on the Bluetooth is no problem with the application on my phone, and subsequently reached 50m+ over water with ease. The app is not overly complicated to use nor understand, and shows you all the information you would need to make an informed decision about the area.

The media could not be loaded. Didn't dislike at all great was on the bank testing it and it works great will use for the boat casting of of all so for looking for deap holds

I highly recommend this product. It is well made. Helps with fish and feature finding. The app is easy to use. Great value for money.

It’s a Garmin however! range of blue tooth is questionable ( ie not practable for anything beyond 20 ft??). Contacted Garmin service in the Uk ; who basically said ‘ try another phone’ (have tried Samsung + I pad pro!) but nil-practical solutions ?? Come on Garmin!! Is there a problem with this product - I have read several Amazon reviews with the same problem?? Fess up???I am persevering as I like Garmin products - will try for an extended period , but as only visiting the UK if it doesn’t ‘start working’ then “it’s become an expensive paperweight”

Excellent price, great item.

Battery drains very quickly and after 3 or 4 charges the charging cord is broken. Very bad product for the price.
