This kit was honestly the love of my life when I first got into robotics. The ELEGOO UNO R3 Smart Robot Car V4 is pre-programmed, super easy to build, and gets you started right away. Within minutes, I had it running and responding — and the fact that you can connect it to your phone and control it makes it even more fun and interactive.The sensors work well overall — line tracking, IR, and ultrasonic — though I did notice a few small issues:The line-following sensor does follow lines, but not always accurately.The obstacle avoidance sensor was slightly off at times.After a collision with a wall, I found the IR sensor to be a bit fragile — I had to replace it later. So handle it with care.But even with those small setbacks, this robot was so reliable and fun that I ended up using it in science fairs and competitions. After reprogramming it and adding parts like a speaker, microphone, screen, and other modules, I competed not just in my city, but also in national and international competitions — and even won first place!Right now, I’m waiting to hear back from another international competition where I submitted the upgraded version. That’s how far this little robot took me.💡 Final Thoughts:If you're a beginner, this is an amazing way to start learning robotics. If you're more advanced, you can build on it, upgrade it, and take it way beyond the original design — just like I did. Highly recommended for students, hobbyists, and anyone who wants to explore programming and robotics in a fun, hands-on way.

totally recommended. I had a lot of quality time with my 6 years old son , assembling the robot. It's way better than any remote controlled tank, let alone the ability to teach your kids robotics and programming

I recently purchased the Elegoo Smart Car V4 with Camera from amazon website as a gift for my son.L as it's a wonderful educational tool and a great introduction to robotics.Unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing due to a faulty Ultrasonic Sensor. Despite following the assembly instructions and troubleshooting steps carefully, the sensor does not function at all. This has halted our progress and taken away from what was supposed to be a fun and inspiring learning experience for my son.I am kindly requesting a replacement for the defective Ultrasonic Sensor so we can get the Smart Car fully operational. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly.Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your support.
