Well these were dissapointing.
I really like how well these work on my dishes and non-stick items. But they sure do not last like they used to. They start to unravel quite soon under normal use. For the price I don't think they are worth it anymore.

They just fall apart!
These things are horrible! The first two didn't last very long. They just unravel as you start to use them, with coiled strings of plastic sticking out everywhere. (Mind you, I do not do anything aggressive with my scrubbers.) I took the last one out the other day. It lasted literally two days. It's just a mess; the whole center popped out of place, and there are loose "threads" sticking out all over it. I've never in all my many years seen such a bad scrubbing product!

Always 5 stars with these.
I can scrub my pots and pans without scratching them. These scrubbers last quite a while. I always keep them on hand.

These Fall Apart - BUT I HAVE A SOLUTION!
I've used O'Cedar scrubbers for years, and they've always been a great solution for everything hand-washable including pots and pans - they rinse completely, dry quickly, without leaving a stinky mess. I've even put them in the dishwasher to get them really clean.HOWEVER, in the last year or two, they have come unraveled quite easily (see yellow snapshot), soon after I start using them (like within a week).I found that there is a little (VERY THIN, CHEAP) clear cellophane band that holds the centers together, and it's that band that breaks, causing the whole scrubber to become a mess, like the one in the yellow snapshot). And just long enough that I can't get a refund for defective product.SOLUTION: I took some heavy duty thread (I had blue, to show you contrast) and with a few stitches, sewed together the centers on both sides. (Third photo) So far so good - I've used my stitched-up scrubber for a month now, and it's just as good as new - probably better because I'll get my money's worth out of these for just a few minutes of my time. This is either a defect or a marketing ploy by O-Cedar to sell more product. Perhaps the company would care to comment?
