I liked how quick it melts. Be careful it can get a little messy. After a few practice I was able to make very nice looking seals. Only disappointment if you do really send it through the postal service, they charge you more just to have a seal.

I wanted to attempt to do my own wax seals on my wedding invitations so I purchased these to use in a glue gun. They were absolutely perfect! I had a total of 32 envelopes (and 2 test wax seal stamps) and used less than 3 sticks. The color was great (Burgundy) as I was looking for a “wine” color and this was a close as I could get.I also purchased the gold, but have not tried using it yet. Will definitely purchase more in the future!I read some other reviews about icing your wax seal stamp and let me tell you, this was a life saver! Put some ice in a small ziplock bag and rest your stamp on the ice in between each use. This will prevent the wax from sticking to the stamp. SO EASY and now I want to put a wax seal like this on everything!Make sure you get a standard size glue gun. These sticks WILL NOT FIT IN A MINI GLUE GUN.

This was super cool to use. I used it for baby shower decorations with the stamp. When using in your hot glue gun it does stay in the glue gun for a while. I had to use q-tips to clean it out and the clear glue after had a pink hue to it after.

Successful hot glue gun wax. I had one issue with a bad stamp and it was due to the seal overheating. Make sure you cool it down between uses. I was able to get 115-120 seals out of the package, with just under a stick to spare. Note that due to the mechanism of the glue gun you’ll need an extra stick to help push the glue stick into the barrel, so I did use every stick provided. Very happy with the purchase.If you’ll be stamping multiple in a row prep some ice and a cloth (preferably microfiber) to cool and wipe down the seal in between. If the wax and seal are too similar in temp you will get a mess. If there is water left on the seal it will also distort your design when you stamp it into the wax.I loved the color of the metallic red. Lots of depth and richness.Note I used this in tandem w an AdTech 0453 dual temp glue gun. Low is pretty much all you need.

This was a great product to work with - beautiful color and worked great with my large glue gun. I definitely recommend following the suggestions listed with the sticks. Chilling my between uses helped my stamp lift clean from the wax and I was able to get more envelopes done in each round. I needed two packs of wax sticks (about 10-12 sticks) to do about 120 envelopes. My only disappointment with this produce is the wax color transferred if rubbed again other paper, even when fully dried. After going through the mail, my envelopes ended up with long, red smears on the front.
