Repaired Kenwood KX-76R Cassette Deck
Couldn’t find any dedicated belt replacement sets for this cassette deck in the US. Purchased this set of belts in hopes I could find a suitable replacement. Needed a 4mm wide belt. The longest included belt (there were multiples of this size in the package) worked. For some reason, the original belt turned to goo. Similar reports from others. The counter uses a smaller round or square belt that did not need replacing. Another kit of this (round/square) type of belt would probably work. For the routing: belt goes around the motor pulley, over top of the adjacent flywheel, and around the outer flywheel.

I repaired my 30 year old Aiwa cassette deck with these belts!
Wonderful assortment of 4 mm wide belts in about 4 or 5 different lengths. The old belts disintergrate with age! Its amazing to see the black goo when you unscrew the cover. The key is you need to carefully remove and clean all that black goo on the pulleys before installing new belts. Aiwa really made it easy to disassemble and slide out the pulleys that go around the motor hub. Fix your old equipment because the new tape players are poor quality! Oh they have different width 4 mm is the widest about a fat 1/8” wide!

Fixed an old AIWA AD-R40 tape deck with these belts.
I repair donated, but non-functional items for a local thrift to sell. I used one of these flat ribbon-like belts to repair a 40 year old AIWA tape deck whose belts had turned into a tarry goo. Although these belts were not specifically designed for this tape deck, I found one that fit well enough and the deck is working great now. I found an exact match for the AIWA belt online, but it cost $30, so this set of 50 for under ten dollars was a no brainer. The belts are thin and feel slightly tacky. They feel less elastic than some rubber belts and I expect that over time they will also turn into black goo. However, the deck works well enough for the thrift to sell it and I have a lot of spare belts for the next cassette deck that needs a replacement belt.

Seem OK but sizes are confusing/misleading
I am no expert on rubber belts but I do understand basic geometry. I thought there were mainly two ways to describe a circle: circumference or diameter/radius. When I ordered these, I had both numbers and thought that the diameters were given but I was wrong. It appears that another way to describe belts such as these is the "folded length" or such. As a results, these belts are a lot smaller than what I thought. I believed the 90mm belt would be a good fit but it turned out that the largest, 135mm, barely was big enough. Not only that, the thickness is also much thinner than I anticipated. Again, probably my fault for not being more careful. The belts themselves seem to be of decent quality though. I'm just disappointed that they are a lot smaller and flimsier than I was hoping for. Not sure I'd trust them to operate a cassette deck, maybe a walkman, but that's it.

Measurements
For anyone that may question how they are measured, it's the length when folded in half, hope this help to whoever it may concern

Believe the Bad Reviews...
The bad reviews are right...flimsy, misshapen...wouldn't use in my deck. Have gotten belt assortments from China before and they weren't bad like these. I guess that is why they are so cheap.

Nice Assortment
This is a nice assortment of sizes. Belts seem to be a good quality. Arrived quickly and the price point was good.
