Easy to use be sure to remove the twist lid and then remove the plastic stopper, before replacing the twist lid, and placing it in the cistern. The water seems to sta blue for plenty of flushes. Good quality, effective at stain removal such as rust marks!

These Toilet Fresheners are definitely not as advertised.Initially, I was happy with this product, as it stopped the fine black particles that used to appear, where the last of the flush used to trickle down, but that has now started to reappear. I presumed that these fine particles are from the black 'mould-like' deposits that seem to appear in the cistern, which I've previously cleaned off, but eventually reappear. I had hoped that this product would prevent these deposits from forming, but alas... :0(The following advert statement: 'Each Ocean Blue Toilet Cistern Blocks Lasts for 1000 Flushes', is clearly not true.After three weeks, and approximately less than 150 flushes, the blue colour is virtually non existent. And I can only surmise that if the colour is weak, then so must the active ingredients be.I have read other reviews complain that the colour is very weak. But if you really want a dark blue flush, then buy 'Blue Loo'. The colour should only be an indicator of dosage, and if it is still working.The blue powder that I originally saw in the jar, when I initially removed the clear plastic protective seal, has now turned into a blue jelly, but doesn't appear to be of any less quantity.Therefore, I've removed the blue plastic top, with the slots in it, and replaced the glass jar back into the bottom of the cistern, to see if that will make any difference to the dosage.I will update this review to give the results, if any, of this test.However, so far, I cannot recommend this Toilet Freshener, for either effectiveness, or value for money. :0(UPDATE: 08/04/25This item worked slightly better, once I had removed the blue plastic top, with the slots in it. But it still only colours the water noticeably, if flushed once a day. The colour is very weak, if flush more often, And if the strength of the colour is any indication of its effectiveness, then it won't be doing much. They don't prevent black marks under the rim, or around the bowl, so I cannot see any benefit in buying them.A waste of money, and definitely NOT recommended.

Keeps the toilet clean and fresh with a nice odour

I think this must be the third time that I have answered this question , it looks like it will work but in truth those that were sent to me just did not do the job , there is only a pale blue in colour , there is no sent or aroma , I have basically stripped the container apart , it now lies in it side with no top on it to see if it will actually work , would I recommend them , NO . They have not word from me .

Great product easy to use works very well

Terrible product, MAKE sure you wear gloves as you'll end up with blue hands.No water colour change, no fragrance smell.I won't be buying again.

I bought 6 thinking I would get 1000 flushes per unit, at first worked well and a deep blue, however, as little as 30 flushes the flush is almost clear.I'm sorry but not up to scratch hence my low rating
