I'm that guy, always getting up and down. The adhesive glides on my dining room chair last about 2 weeks before they start coming apart. I bought these because they screw in, are narrow enough to disappear beneath the chair leg, and have replacement glider parts.When I first put them on, I found they weren't as slippery as normal glides, but they quickly broke in. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that they're 2-piece, but cannot prove it. It took about a week before my chair was sliding easily, allowing me to get up to grab all the forgotten items in the kitchen.It's been over a month and they're as good as new. Normally, I would have been through 2 sets of glides by now.I also bought a set of replacement slides, so if/when these wear out, I can replace the tops without removing the entire part.The only thing I'd love for them to have is felt/carpet replacements. When we put the area rug away, we usually switch to felt sliders, and I'd love to have that option, but now that these are screwed in, the glides get to stay all year round.

The GorillaGlides are the best design for carpet glides, period. Should one of the gliders get damaged all you need to do is pop off the damaged slider component piece and pop on a new one. Much easier than having to replace the entire glide!

We have re[laced several so far! Lick to last 5 month with regular use.

I've been using for a few weeks and so far doing the job. Much easier to move than using the "red" things. Just hope they hold up long term.

The barstools slide very smoothly across our kitchen tile. Don’t even notice the grooves in the grout. I bought a bag of replacement glides after reading reviews of how they fall off, but I have not had an issue with that at all.

I had the sliders that just slipped on the leg and they were good for about 6 months till they started falling off. Upon putting on the GorillaGlides I elected to use the screw on option and they are secure and work very well on my floors. Great product.

Not as great as I thought they'd be. We'll see how they wear on our kitchen chairs.
