Great trimmer but the 2.0ah battery charge doesn't last very long.
Lightweight, oh yes. I have arthritis in my hands but I have no problems holding and maneuvering it. I basically use it as an edger. The only problem is the 2.0ah battery. The charge doesn't last very long. I am going to buy a 4.0ah compatible battery and would urge you to do the same as they last much longer between charges.

Decent with a good battery
Works much better with a 4.0 amp/hr battery. Makes it work harder and longer than the wimpy battery it comes with.

Light weight
Love the light weight . Not as powerful as a gas trimmer but does very well on light trimming .

Easy to Use
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Simple and easy to use. Really like that it’s cordless and doesn't require fuel/oil mixture. The battery charge lasts enough to complete the entire yard in one session, however I do have backup batteries just in case needed.

Full Charge Trims 1/4 Acre Fenced Yard, Lightweight, Fast
I have always hated most string trimmers, no matter the brand. Gas ones weigh a ton and kill your arm. Battery ones are too weak on power and the batteries never get past doing half of my 1/4 acre fenced in yard. So electric ones were my choice due to having some power and being light weight, with one exception- the long, long electric cords I need to drag out to do the whole yard. I won't even get into the constant string issues that almost all the bump feed trimmers have.I knew when my last electric string trimmer died what I wanted to look for in a new string trimmer- no more bump- but auto feed, no more long electric cords, but a battery one with a battery that will last, and at least enough power to get through medium- light weeds and grass. When I saw this model at this great price, I decided to order it and this is without a doubt the best string trimmer I have ever bought and used. The auto feed- what a time saver- no more messing with that string! A powerful 20 V Lithium Ion battery- power that gets me through the entire 1/4 acre yard with some to spare. The shaft is adjustable- perfect for tall people like me. A bonus is the head flips so you can also edge with this model. There is supposed to be a wheel for edging, but mine did not come with a wheel. It doesn't matter, as you can edge without a wheel. This trimmer doesn't even weigh 5 pounds- so light and easy on your arm. As for the spool, I've been using the same spool all summer and have yet to need to change it, so I'm seeing this one spool will last an entire summer on a 1/4 acre yard. Everything I wanted in a new string trimmer I now have. I always bring the battery inside and recharge it for the next use. I thought I would need 2 batteries, but not for my size yard. What used to take me an hour and a half now takes me a 20 minutes- this is the best string trimmer I have ever owned!

Weed eater for easy projects
Have had it for over four years and it still works. It is not strong enough for the heavy duty spring weeds and grasses. The main problem is that the cutting line only comes out approx four inches and often breaks, requiring to open up to the line spool. I will buy a larger and stronger weed eater. The battery lasts okay most of the time, however with fresh and green weeds to cut deteriorates quickly .

Lightweight and Easy Maintenance
Edit 05/23/20: Just an update to say I used this again for the first time this year, 4 years on, and it's still working great.Original review: I debated for a long time before buying this trimmer -- gas powered trimmers are so much more powerful, and manual feed string can save you a little bit of money if you want to be frugal. This item was over $90 when I was considering it, and I thought long and hard. Then Amazon Warehouse had one someone had returned priced at $52, and I jumped on it (along with a spare battery pack). I'm so glad I did! It's lightweight and requires so much less maintenance than the gas powered trimmer I used to own.In my opinion, the convenience far outweighs the power you give up. I'm a middle aged woman who is not in the greatest of health, and my mom is getting up there in age (71), so helping her take care of her yard on the weekends can be difficult. Not only does this little guy help me out with the heavier work by being so light & maneuverable, she is able to easily use it to do light trimming around trees on her own when I'm not there. Being able to just turn it on without having to pullstart a sometimes reluctant motor is a godsend for her.Being a little on the taller side, I also appreciate the telescoping handle. I don't have to stoop over a whole lot to work with it (no lower back pain!), and I can still shorten it when I'm done for easier storage. For its light duty purpose, this runs like a dream. The first time I used it, though, there was a lot of catching up to do on mom's yard. After charging both the included battery and the spare I'd ordered, I was able to do messy HEAVY DUTY chopping for about 40 minutes. If you live out in the country and know how weeds can get overgrown in a ditch & around a mailbox, you know that's impressive! For easier tasks, the battery power of course lasts a bit longer. With the lowering of the price on this item (in the mid-60 dollar range as I write this), I don't think anyone should hesitate to buy it for light duty trimming. I also recommend picking up a spare LBXR20 battery and a couple extra replacement spools, and you'll be set.
