Fun game at a decent price
The game takes a little bit to figure out, as most games do the first time you play them, but the helpful turn order cards speed up the learning curve. The figurines are well sculpted and the game provides a lot of entertainment value when you're playing with 6-8 people.

Fantastic cooperative game that captures intensity and trust issues of the movie.
We are VERY big fans of this movie. This game is a cooperative game (mostly), where most people start off as humans, but a couple get infected into being on the aliens' team. The game captures the "who can you trust" aspect of the film so very well. I can't tell you with words what that experience is like... 1 or 2 of the people in the room are lying aliens, and you look around at their faces, the accusations fly, etc. That deep feeling in your gut of not knowing really happens at the climactic endings of this game.It took us about 2-3 games before we got the hang of it, figured out how to utilize our characters' abilities correctly, etc. So, at first, we were making mistakes about how the game mechanics worked, and the aliens won all the time. Now that we know what we're doing, the humans/aliens are winning about 50/50. So the game seems well balanced. The board looks great. The pieces look great. The cards look great. Very high quality. Very good artwork. If you like this movie, you will like this game. If you haven't seen the movie, this game will make you want to go see it.Extremely well done game.

Deception among friends
The Things rules are not so complex that you'll never be able to play it properly but there is a nice bit of depth to be found with them also. After our first game we agreed we all had good fun and would try a 2nd round. The 2nd round was a blast! During our initial run all of us had been taking mental notes on how to deceive one another and implement new tactics. This led to a far more interesting take on the 2nd game.It only gets better with each new game and will definitely be a regular go to for game night with the lads.

Best Group Boardgame Ever!
I’m telling you right now, this is the single Best boardgame for groups ever. Deception is at its peak and the designers created a masterpiece that keeps the entire group fully invested from start to finish. Our Get To The Chopper moments have created some of the most thrilling, fun, and energetic moments. Games of only Four people are going to struggle for human victory, I’m not sure it’s even possible. Best games so far have been six players. The rules seem complicated but just start a play through with the instructions in hand and you’ll be set. Instructions are easy to understand and example illustrations make it even easier aside to get through first game. We were locked solid in gameplay after two play throughs. I can’t give this one enough stars. Great game, expensive, but totally worth every penny.

Fantastic game, the first play through can be a bit daunting, however; once everyone understood how to play it was a lot of fun. The game is beautiful, and if your a fan of the movie and boardgames that thrive on table talk you will enjoy this game.
