KitchenAid Measuring Spoons, Set Of 5, White

Easy to clean, beautiful and bright color, excellent material.

I ordered matching white measuring cups and spoons. Who knew that measuring devices could be so elegant? There's an unusual sleek smooth style to these cups and spoons. Everything is white except for the backs of the handles, which are black. They're very nice.Printing is engraved and subtle. While small, it is clear enough for even my tired old eyes to make out easily without my reading glasses.I have no comment on the rings; the first thing I always do with those is throw them away. I keep my measuring spoon collection easily accessible in a coffee cup. I don't want to have to remove what I need from the ring every time, nor do I want to leave it on the ring and have to wash the entire set. As for the measuring cups, we use those for everything – and leave them there. For example, I leave the correct size measuring cup in the dog food bin, the detergent, the oatmeal container, the pancake and baking mix, etc. It makes life so much easier and cuts down on dishes.Thick and sturdy.

For a set of plastic measuring spoons, these are quite nice. They are very sturdy and have a smooth, rubber “grip” on the underside of each handle. They come on a D-shaped ring that is very easy to open in order to remove a spoon or to replace one and they washed perfectly in the dishwasher. However, the description of them states that the measurements are “easy to read” and I disagree. The measurements, such as “1 TBSP” are molded into the handle of each spoon, under the larger Kitchen Aid name. The brand label is nice and big but the size measurements are very small and are not raised or painted to make them stand out from the white plastic. I absolutely can’t read them without my reading glasses on. I have similar sets of plastic spoons that I purchased at the grocery or dollar store for a quarter of the price of these that I can read without my glasses. These spoons are nice but seem way too expensive when you can get something just as useful for a dollar or two at a store.

I ordered the KitchenAid measuring cups and measuring spoons. They match perfectly and make a really nice set when used together.The measuring spoons come in 1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tbsp, 1tbsp. The spoons also have ml measurements which is really nice, no conversion tables are needed. I also love that there is a half tablespoon measurement as my previous spoons don’t have this size. I do think they could add a 1/8 tsp to make this the absolute perfect set.The spoons are really easy to clean and use. I like the clip that holds them together so you can’t lose one as easily or drop it down the garbage disposal. I also love the silicone backing, it adds a good grip while holding.All around a great set of spoons, I love them!

This is a great set to use for all the various cooking and baking needs for my home and family. It includes the standard: 1 tablespoon, 1/2 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, and 1/4 teaspoon measurements. Perfect to use and measure both wet and dry ingredients with accuracy and ease. They're easy to read and look so clean and pure being in white but there are other great colors available too. They're easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher which is my personal preference. They're easy to organize and store with the included plastic ring. They're great and I have no complaints. Definitely another great product from KitchenAid which I'd highly recommend!
