It says so right in the description...the plunge base is required

Q: Will this work on the kreg accu-cut circular saw track? or does it only work on the makita guide rail?

Don't know for sure, but doubt it would match up with the Kreg.

Q: What is the distance between the rods, both locations?

Center to center, the rods are 3 1/4" and 4 1/2" apart.

Q: Does the Porter cable 890 series fit this?

I purchased this and have three sizes of porter cable routers. None of them fit. Returning it.
