The Vesta Sous Vide cooker does what it says and “says what it does”, due to an easy to understand & empirical control panel, plus an impressive Bluetooth phone app.I had no trouble at all figuring out how to get started - there is a quick start guide, but the trilingual manual has a short English section that explains the Bluetooth setup and provides more warnings (like “add enough water”, which some reviewers may have overlooked).I use a deep pasta pot covered with tinfoil to economize on the pricey $80 Sous Vide boxes, and I bought a set of 30 vacuum bags with clips and a hand pump on Amazon’s “distressed merchandise” website. I also bought the Vesta unit with slightly damaged packaging, so I am set up for Sous Vide for an outlay of c. $55.The cheaper devices (under 900 watts) are just fine for home use, even dinner parties.The results are worth it!

I got this for my father in law for Christmas. He's impossible to buy for so I searched up best kitchen gadgets and found this on a blog. He was so excited about it (even though he doesn't show emotions very often lol) that he had it open within minutes. He's used it multiple times, his first food he used it on was pork chops which I thought was odd but they turned out great!
