Inflates easily, directions could be a bit clearer
I had heard good things about these inflatable kayaks, and thought it was worth a shot. (My car is a tiny hatchback with no roof rack, so inflatable is the only option to carry around.) This kit includes the hand pump and the paddle along with the kayak.I set it up to make sure everything inflated and assembled properly. The pump is easy to use and inflates quickly; the directions are just icon-based, which was a little confusing but I got there. Word of advice: pump up the floor of the kayak first, THEN the upper part! I started with the upper part, and had to deflate it partway to get the pump into the floor inlet. The paddle comes in several pieces plus the drip-blocking rings, but I was able to figure it out in a minute.I was too late in the season to try it on the water yet (took advantage of the discounted price), but I will update once I know the stabiliy and durability.

Fun!
Just tried out my new Challenger inflatable kayak yesterday! It’s lightweight enough for a 55yo woman to transport in her Chevy Cruze and it fit into my car completely inflated. (Back seats down & front psgr seat fully fwd - loaded thru trunk). Inflation & deflation was quick and easy with the 2-in-1 valves. Unscsrew top part to inflate without loss of air. Unscrew larger bottom part to deflate. Wish it had a drain plug but no big. Stability not as good as with a normal kayak bc of lighter weight but I kind of expected that. Lots of watercraft around me meant lots of little waves but I just faced them head-on and wasn’t worried about capsizing. Not much room for gear so pack lightly. It’s just big enough on the inside to accommodate your legs. Anything you bring will get strapped down under the cargo net in front of you and if it’s too bulky it will impede on your leg space below.I did get several compliments from people who were interested in a truly transportable kayak. Most people don’t know inflatables exist. Definitely would only use in lakes and mild rivers, as the manufacturer suggests. Ergonomically comfortable and navigable. Tooling around in this kayak for several hours made for an exceptionally enjoyable afternoon!Just a thought, if you buy two, you can always invite a friend to go kayaking with you and they’re cheap enough so go for it!I definitely recommend this kayak.

Nice Kayak!!
Yesterday we took out our Kayaks ( we got 2) for the first time. What a blast! They pump up fast, not hard at all. Easy to get into, I have a small dog to get into it as well, easy. The seat can be adjusted with how ever much air you want. I like mine full as I am short so it brings me up higher. Others said they tend to feel like they lean to one side or the other. Mine felt like to the left, my husbands felt like to the right. Once you adjust yourself it works fine and you don't feel it anymore. I found a trick to make it feel less confining around my legs by taking a 10 inch piece of pool noodle and pushing it into the sides just in front of the seat buckle to rise up the sides a bit. Gave it more room and my husband said his legs and feet had more room. I felt very secure and safe in it. It was easy to unfold and refold. I do suggest you pay attention to how its folded when you open it. It should be folded up the same way so when you put it back in the bag it fits correctly and everything goes back in easy.Take it out and inflate it in your home and leave it for a day or two. Sit in it and get a feel for it. Adjust the amount of air in the seat to how you might like it. Do this before you get it out on the water, makes it more fun.We really like them and will be using them a lot.

Seat does not deflate! Won’t fit in bag inflated!
The kayak inflated nice and looks like it will be good on water. I haven’t brought it on the water yet. The chair has major problems deflating. No idea how to get it deflated. I can’t imagine struggling in 90° humid weather trying to deflate the chair to stuff it in its case! I may be returning it just because of this. There are no directions that come with it and no idea how to deflate the chair. There’s also a green thing you can blow up and no idea what that’s about. Again, no directions. Not going to try it as it’s the same as the chair and would not be able to deflate it. Maybe it’s a pillow?I really need something to deflate to store back in its case.Kinda cheap pump that comes with it too.UPDATE: I found an ice pick to get the chair plug out and stuck it in the hole to get air out. Will not be carrying an ice pick with me to deflate the chair. I’m returning! Also to deflate this kayak is tons of work! I may not get it deflated enough to fit back in the box! Awful!! This is a kayak that you plan to keep inflated. Does not deflate completely. Now I will have to go find another box to stuff this thing in and return it!! Terrible!
