CRAFTSMAN V20 Mini Chainsaw, 10 inch, Battery and Charger Included (CMCCS610D1)

I have many craftsman 20 volt cordless tools so when I ordered this when I became aware of it. I have used it a LOT since my purchase because it is amazingly effective, easy-to-use, easy on batteries, lightweight, and small. It can cut surprisingly large branches, surprisingly easily and quickly. I had used even smaller chainsaws but they did not have an oil reservoir but when I saw that this had one, I gave away the other one and got this. It is easy on oil and I have cut a lot of wood with the original chain with no need for sharpening yet. This is ideal for pruning trees.

The Craftsman electric chainsaw has been a powerhouse addition to my tool collection! It’s easy to handle, with plenty of cutting power to tackle everything from small branches to larger logs. I was impressed by how quietly it operates compared to gas-powered models, and the electric power means no hassle with fuel or difficult startups. The media could not be loaded. This battery powered chainsaw works fantastic. It easily cuts small limbs and branches with ease. It is very light weight. My saw however leaks the chainsaw oil from the cap, so unsure why that is, otherwise a fantastic product.

It all starts with your first battery operated Craftsman tool. Years later, your Amazon Wishlist is packed with more Craftsman V20 toys ... I mean "tools" that you cannot live without. This chainsaw was one such item.This year, I finally hit the buy button on this Mini Chainsaw so I could venture into the woods with my family and tag a Christmas tree.After adding some chainsaw oil and slapping in a freshly charged battery, the chainsaw came to life.The chainsaw worked well and made quick work of the Christmas tree. Since we were in the woods with a bunch of downed trees, we spend some time slicing logs and trimming branches off said downed trees.This isn't a gas powered chainsaw, so I wouldn't use this as a daily chainsaw, but if you need to occasionally use it and you already have invested in other V20 tools, it's a great chainsaw to add to the collection.We will be taking it with us when we go camping and off-roading now.

Ok so I have had other electric saws, I own almost ever 20v craftman tool available and this is hands down the best thing they make! I just cut down about 6 trees 6” thick, butter! Battery still was good so I went after the 3 12” trees, again butter! Battery diedSo put a new on in for the real test. My steel blade on my farm boss was super dull thought I would give this a try on the big 3foot tree. While it wasn’t perfect by any means, took a little time, still fell it with ease! I would recommend this to any non idiot looking for a legit easy to use and super lightweight chainsaw all day! My mom and my sister can run it with ease, the gas ones not so much! This is a must have for sure!

I am so happy with this! It is light so I can use it to prune the thicker branches on my shrub and trees, and because it uses a battery there is no smoke or fumes from gas and oil, and no cord to pull or choke to deal with or having to get the right oil to gas ratios. Also to electric cord to deal with like my electric one. I'm not afraid to use this, and I have total freedom to go as far from the house as I need. It cuts in good time and has done surprisingly well with some of the trees my son and I have taken down, limbed and cut up for burning in woodstove length. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. We worked all day on one charge cutting down 4 trees. limbing them and cutting them into woodstove length logs. Definately a good investment.

For a battery powered saw, it performs adequately. Not the sturdiest, but not a bad value for the money. Leaks oil like a seive, but at least they warm you in the directions to empty the oil after every use. Kind of a pain, but that's how they work.
