Small ding on edge but did not affect function.Like most things time will tell.Works great, but....the holes clog. easy to clean so seems like a trade off so far.

Perfect fit
Looking to replace top to my chimney and local Home depot only had tops to big for my needs. Found this on Amazon so tried it out and was very easy to install and was perfect fit for my needs. Defiantly will order more when needed. The topper has a rubber seal around bottom to make a good seal.

Good solid piece of hardware
This is a good solid piece of hardware for the chimney. I got this thinking it would work for me but didn't realize that I needed a 7" vent instead of this 8" vent. So I could not install it.

Perfect!
When I went looking for a new cap for our stove pipe, my main goal was to find something to keep out the birds that nest in there every spring. I found that in this product. It fits snugly. (We're in an area that gets some nasty winds that whipped our last one right off). And given the material it's made of, rusting shouldn't be an issue.
