General Electric WR02X12008 Evaporator Fan Motor G

Though this is listed as an exact replacement part for my GE refrigerator GTS18FBRER-WW, it was not. The original grommets large ring was much thicker than the one on these. That means that the total length of the grommet is not an exact match, and since you need 2, you're losing a good 1/4" - 1/2" of cushion... which is needed in order to secure the evaporator motor tightly in place within its frame. Ironically, in my case it was the breakdown of the original grommets that caused the motor to shift and eventually burn out. So I ordered a new motor and knew I needed new grommets. I triple checked the part number which these were a match. I thought it looked a little thinner in the picture compared to the original that I was holding (plus mine was black) but i assumed since it had the same part number it would still fit... I was wrong. So in order to make it work, I cut off a piece from the salvageable part of the original grommet and used it as extra padding to thicken it up... But after just a few days it's starting to slip.... Gonna have to go look for the correct item elsewhere. I hated spending this much money (times 2, cuz you need 2) for stupid grommits, and now I get to do it all over again. Look at the item picture and compare the thickness and length compared to yours. The picture was accurate to what I received.

Exactly as pictured. However it was a few cents more than on the manufactures website but with Amazon prime it was shipped with free 2-day shipping compared to their 3-5 business days for $5.99 so it was a no brainer.

A simple silicone rubber bushing identical to the original bushings for my GE refrigerator. You'll need TWO... front and back. They are the same.

Goofy that these don’t come in pairs. You need to buy two of these. Replace the existing ones when replacing your evaporator fan motor. Fit my GE profile freezer evaporator fan perfectly.
