Very nice looking cast iron pot and well seasoned too! Does the job. Just hope it will last, --so far so good. Looks really nice and fancy too to serve up some Beef Stew or Gumbo or a favorite casserole and serve it up on the dinner table too! The cast iron on this pot is not as thick as the cast iron on the Lodge cast iron pots, but it is a very good quality made cast iron pot nonetheless.

Purchased as a gift. The recipient is an excellent cook. He loved this grill press. He stated it gets very hot and makes excellent panini sandwiches. He has used this item as a grill press and as a griddle. He stated this grill press was ready to go when he received it (pre-seasoned). Worth five stars.

This item looked good, what i expected. However, when I opened the package, the handle was broken. I believe the USP person who delivered just threw the package over the fence and the heaviness of this item made the handle crack off. If the person didn't know how to open the door, I expect a notification of attempt delivery instead of just throwing an item over a fence. I Gave it a 4 stars because of the delivery service and because of the wait in order to get a new one, other than that, the product looks good. I got a refund and I might buy the same product again or choose another.

Have not used this griddle- grill very much but it appears to have a good finish, even heating and will fill the need that the high end ranges market in their brand name at outrageous high prices. This fits well on my range top and was one quarter the cost.

I love the size for two Or more people, the flip panini side, the pre-seasoning was great. It heats evenly for everything, and the lid can also be used as a bacon press.

Purchased this from Amazon as an open box item in excellent condition. As you can see in the picture, it has a rust spot on the cast iron surface. Not in excellent condition. I'll have to grind out the rust spot and re-season the cast iron. The cast iron surface is very rough, unlike Lodge cast iron, which is very smooth on the cooking surface. Too much trouble to ship it back.

I have seasoned it twice and used it twice as a panini press both times the bread ha stuck so bad it had to be scraped off and the sandwich was Massacred. Even with oiling the griddle and the bread buttered. Haven’t tried anything else yet as the primary purpose was for paninis. Very disappointed. Hopefully will get better with use. Will update as needed.

I must admit off the bat that I could have caused the damage on this item. I removed the coating with a sander and went through a 3 step process of reapplying the coating. I think, after the first phases, I noted a crack in the upper right hand corder going to approximately midline. Part of the process is heating the item on the stove. I noticed the crack after heating it for the first time. That being said, it is a beautiful griddle. It fits perfect and serves the purpose that I intended which is to make keto friendly tortillas and eggs.

It works. Not as good as my other cast iron pan. They differ in shape, it’s flat so heat is distributed differently I think

I just started to use this pan and it is awful and is rusting. Say your money and look elsewhere.

It is a perfect size for 4- burner gas stove (fits amazingly over largest burner) and elegant design for home use. Looks great on the stove or table. Just use a thick trivet or wooden cutting board when putting a hot grill in the table.Very thoughtful and smart design. Nice high ribbing that allows fat to drain for leaner meat, big plus in my behalf. But if you want juicy fatty meat then just use flat non-rubbed side - it has tall enough edges not to drip meat juice and fat onto your stove.For those who complained about it smoking up the house - LEARN about cookware you’re using. HEAT UP SLOWLY, don’t leave unattended and use stove’s fan - all cast iron cookware smokes a little WHEN HOT AND OILED. If don’t like it - cook outside on the BBQ.DON’T FORGET TO DRY COMPLETELY, IMMEDIATELY AFTER WASH and apply thing oil coating with non-fluffy cloth before storing away.It’s a great little grill and i would highly recommended to all savvy home-cooks who love their traditional cookware and looking after it.AlPS the grill press/lid is ribbed on its inner side. It fits the base perfectly as it is slightly smaller in size ( top and bottom ribs/grooves click into each perfectly, just make sure they follow same direction)
