They certainly are a great shape
I have severe arthritis and it is hard for me to use regular utensils. The shape and thickness fit really nice in my hands. I no longer drop any utensils or spill food on myself.

Bought for someone with Parkinson's and Impaired Vision
Bought these for a VERY stubborn man! Was unsure at first whether to get "weighted ones" or "these" as I needed a solution for the shaking. After getting scolded the first time....I do see him using them still today (over two months in). While they do have a bit of weight, they don't really solve for the shaking. I also find the larger spoon to be a bit big for his mouth. Nevertheless still useful as the wide grip handles are very comfortable in this set! Feels smooth and good to hold. Because of his impaired vision, I've noticed that having a bigger handle helps to locate the spoon more easily as he feels his way around the plate (an added bonus I didn't expect). I would recommend these for seniors, arthritis sufferers, if you have hand fatigue, pain or mobility issues, or limited vision...these are handy ;) !

Good quality
These are great, my husband uses these because he has difficulty holding a regular spoon. These are great not heavy just right!
