Very detailed scholarly work
Not really suitable for the casual browser, this is a stone by stone study of Venice.

I was mislead by the description of the book
I've being buying books from Amazon for years and have generally been very satisfied with all my orders. This is the first time that I believe your description of the book mislead me: "If you love Venice and if you love art nd culture, this is an essential book" There we no readers comments. I was expecting a book full of Ruskin's drawings of Venice, an inset I found out that it is essentially a book for architects. It is useless to me.I would like to return it but the book is o heavy that I would have to ay the price of the book itself. I don't want this book. I could give e it to my local library. So please tell me what to do.
