Easy set up, and works great! The distance it covers is MUCH further than expected. It’s sensitive, birds set it off sometimes, and if pasture grass gets high it will also set it off. It’s nice to have warning when people or animals have arrived.

I had a prior one of these units and it has always worked fairly well for my long country driveway. Critters apparently chewed the antenna enough that it no longer worked, so I purchased a replacement (kept the same receiver). Does a good job alerting when vehicles come down my drive and the signal from the driveway to the receiver in the house seems strong. Gives peace of mind when it alarmed once in the middle of the night and I checked my security camera and saw two people at my front door! It DOES also pick up deer, squirrels, etc, but thats ok. The only time it has any issues is during heavy rain or heavy snow, it does not seem to work very well. Only thing that maybe would be a plus is if it also worked with Alexa!

I have used this product for several years at my job and at home. They work really well and have good range. Do not over tighten the screws in the back when you replace the battery as they strip out easily. Moisture can be an issue causing the product to fail prematurely. I believe another reviewer mentioned the same thing I do, apply electrical tape around the seam of the unit which works good and keeps the water out. It’s a great alert when my packages arrive or when you need to karate chop a car prowler.

Great range and reliability. Have used this product for years.

My old green version lasted 4 years. Hopefully this one last longer.

It offers a great convenience of knowing when someone is coming down the driveway but it doesn't always alert, like if the car is driving fast. It also has a limited life span of 9 months to a year and then the electronics go bad.

I have used this alarm for many years and they work very well. We have a long driveway so the first unit is as you pull into our driveway. 1000 feet from our home. We know as soon as someone passes in front of the transmitter since it activates a tone alarm inside our house. Very handy.I have mine on a timer so it shuts off late night due to deer and other animals roaming around.

I have used this for a driveway alert for years. The older model had a 9 volt battery, the new one I just got has been changed to two AA batteries. I am not sure it will last as long as the old one. Time will tell. This works very well for us because of a long driveway that we can't see or hear from inside our house and it is great to know when a car pulls in. The batteries on the old model would easily last 6 month's if you use a good brand. The only down side is the small screws on the back that are recessed and hard to remove when the battery needs changed. The old one lasted for years and still would if someone hadn't backed into the tree it was mounted on and crushed it. I also have two receivers so I can be alerted from the house or my workshop in another building.
