More than the normal size choices
First - about sizing. The Amazon size choices for this item list many 'tall' sizes that the are not available on the NeoSport website. The only 'tall' size offered by NeoSport is 'Large/Tall'. So - even though I ordered an XLTall from Amazon I expected to get just an XL. That was OK with me since it is usually a sleeve length issue for me and since this item is a vest sleeve length did not matter. When the vest arrived it was tagged XLT (just like I ordered). I don't know why this item is available, from Amazon anyway, in sizes that the company does not advertise. I looked for other NeoSport items on Amazon that might come in 'tall' sizes but found none.About the vest...I am 6'4" tall and have a 35" waist and a 45" chest and weigh 200#. The XLT fits me perfectly. A very snug fit but that is the way a wetsuit item should fit for best performance. It has a heavy duty zipper that is backed by a flap of fabric so you don't catch any chest hair on the way up and down. After paddling 4 hours this afternoon the zipper stayed in place without working its way down. The arm holes seem a little small but that adds to the effectiveness of the insulation qualities. I could feel the fabric at the arm holes while paddling but did not get any chafing. Next time out I will try wearing a lightweight wicking shirt under the vest just to see if it feels any different. This item is priced pretty closely with other items of its type, although some I have tried did not have the protective flap of fabric backing the zipper. If this thing falls apart on me I will try to edit this review but for now I am very pleased with this purchase.

Good product, inaccurate sizing guide
I am 5'6", 36 chest, 28 waist at 132 pounds...by the guide I should be an XS, so I ordered one that size. Way too small, but it seemed like a good product -- so I ordered another in S. It fits perfectly. I got issued a refund right away. Good experience with the seller and a nice vest, to boot.

5'10" 150 lb, Ordered Medium, Snug Fit Borderline Comfortable
I'm 5'10", 150 lb and ordered a Medium. It felt snug around the neck and chest, but otherwise is a decent fit. There is no room to wear a rash guard shirt underneath it though. I imagine that after wearing this for a while and breaking it in it'll feel more comfortable. I'm more on the thinner side of average, non-athletic build. The back side does bunch up a little bit, but nothing an occasional tug on the back tail of the vest won't fix. The arm cutouts under the arm pits really are close-fitting, almost to a point that may cause a friction rash if used in a water sport requiring lots of wide-ranging arm movements for long duration (several hours). It does keep me very warm though, great for spring/fall seasons.

Ordered wrong size
Am giving this a 3 because I returned it due to me ordering the wrong size. It appeared to quality materials and was exactly what I needed to cover my core while doing water aerobics.

soft feel
Experienced diver so not too fussy about vests. I will wear almost anything and I am fine. What I like about this vest is it is pliable. It 'hugs' more than it 'compresses' so it almost gently wraps the contours of the body rather than squeezes. At over 6' and +250lbs, the 2xl was perfect. Smaller would hv been too small and bigger too big.Update later after a few uses to see how tough this vest is.Update 7 27 20... The vest is comfortable in water. Less constricting than others. Unfortunately, the 2xl is too large. Once wet, because of its elasticity, and once I began moving around in surf, it allowed the layer of water between skin and vest to slosh around. There was so much water movement around my skin it literally felt as if I was wearing nothing. I will get the XL size. Otherwise, very comfy.

Easy fit
This is a nice vest. Very stretchy so it fits tight. I am 5' 7", 170 lbs and quite fit for 70 years old. I tried a of couple shorty wetsuits and found them to be comfortable in the water but impossible to undress without help. This vest is easy to put on and take off. It does have some draw backs as far as warm goes. My body will move in some ways when swimming that allow cold water in between skin and suit. ( Back of neck, bottom) I will remedy some of it by connecting bottoms to top with straps and clips.

Good for cold lap pool
This is my second XSPAN vest, that I use for lap swimming at the local gym that keeps the water a bit colder than I would like. I am slim, and my lack of body fat makes me prone to a chill in a cold pool. Unlike Neosports standard neoprene vest, the XSPAN version is soft and comfortable from the first day, and because it is more flexible than the standard vest, would be a better choice for someone less slim. Both versions are easily removed with the full lenth zipper and much better than neoprene shirts that are hard to get on it off without tearing or stretching the fabric. Expect about 100 sessions of an hour in a chlorine pool before it stretches out of shape and fades to grey, and then another 50 sessions before it begins to disintegrate. For me, it lasts about a year. I suspect it would last longer in fresh water like a lake.

Returned same day!
This item sent was not an XXL. In fact it wasn't even a small. I am 6 ft and a just little over 200 lbs. It wouldn't even zip closed. The quality seemed average and the zipper seemed sturdy but if the seller doesn't get the sizing issue fixed they are going to have a lot of unsatisfied customers. Sent it back immediately. No one has time for this blatant misrepresentation or the hassle of returns. Amazon needs to screen its vendors more closely.
