This was a gift for my son who needed a cutter for photos he printed. We were not sure at the price that it wouldbe all that well constructed --however, he reported that it was excellent!!

I used this for cutting anything from paper at 80g to greyboard so far. This is a heavy machine for a tough job in my art room and it is fabulous. Due to its size, I have to keep it elsewhere than on my desk, and it is bloomin heavy to lift each time BUT, I needed a tool to cut board to make boxes etc, and the Dahle A3 rotary trimmer is great for lighter weight but not for greyboard and mountboard. Having searched the market, I went for another Dahle and don't regret it for a moment. I also have the Dahle A4 rotary trimmer. I have tried every craft trimmer out there and they are all pants nets to Dahle products. Yes, I craft all day and half the night as well, not just a couple of hours a week. The old adage is true, buy cheap - buy twice. I simply can't recommend the Dahle guillotine enough. It eats mountboard for breakfast and cuts as true as I need. I'm told that the olny guillotine better is the professional electric version and you need the space of a garage devoted to it alone, so that one wasn't for me. Yes, they are heavy but that's because they are not made of plastic - and plastic shatters after a couple of years. If you buy this machine - you will be thanking yourself for years to come.

Tempo fa avevo acquistato una taglierina più economica che non ho potuto mai davvero utilizzare perché i tagli non erano precisi. Questo prodotto pur non essendo professionale è molto più solido e preciso e quindi risulta affidabile. Si riesce a ritagliare anche misure piuttosto piccole tipo biglietto da visita anche se bisogna ricontrollare continuamente la misura perché la barra che tiene ferma la carta può spostarsi anche se provvista di blocco. Speriamo che il filo della lama duri a lungo
