Quality Pocket Carry Knife
The knife is very sharp and convenient. It is small enough to keep on a keychain and has been used for opening packages, cutting tags off items, scraping sticky items, and other general requirements. It is expensive but the quality is good. The knife is easy to open and lock/unlock. While it is small, it is easy to grasp and the hole in the blade adds an extra leverage point. Very happy with the knife and would buy it again.

Great blade, small footprint
This is the second Manbug I’ve purchased from Amazon. I bought one for my father, who won’t carry a normal pocket knife with a clip, but is often needing to go find the scissors, which always seem to be missing. I’ve had a Spydero Ladybug on my keychain for over ten years and it’s still functional, but very much in need of cleaning and sharpening. When I saw the Manbug I got for my dad, I was very impressed with the slightly larger blade and razor sharp edge. I also liked that his had the Spyderco logo and Sal Glesser’s signature on the blade. Not that anyone is going to notice except perhaps a knife enthusiast who is without their EDC and needs to borrow it. Anyway, I was so impressed that I decided to purchase another for myself. It came factory sealed, blade oiled and razor sharp. Luckily, I had some small keychain rings from my Ladybug that I was able to transfer to the Manbug in order to get it properly attached to my keychain. The knife doesn’t come with any rings at all, so that’s something you should consider purchasing if you’re going to be attaching to a keychain. I also bought a set of two small carabiners (they only come in two packs here on Amazon) to easily attach and remove the knife. This is something you’re probably going to want to do if you ever go inside government or “no weapons allowed” buildings. Makes it a lot easier to pop it on and off your keychain. Overall, this is a great little knife and it is little, but it cuts just as well as it’s big brothers. If the price is a hang up, just realize this is a genuine Spyderco blade made from VG-10 steel. It’s good quality and built to last. When the movers misplaced all of my other EDC knives, the Ladybug was all I had and I was glad to have it. So the bottom line is, if you’re looking for a quality knife that you can stick in your pocket or purse, this fits the bill nicely. My dad really likes his and I’ve been using Spydercos for decades. They don’t typically disappoint. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a good knife for everyday tasks such as opening mail, boxes and any sort of packaging that requires something sharp to open. Even if you do have a good EDC already but you’re in a hurry and leave it behind, at least you’ve got this handy on your keychain. I’m completely satisfied and I highly recommend it.

Perfect Keychain knife..
I have a few knives that I use for everyday carry. It’s the rare occasion that I forget one and when I do I always need a knife. This solves the issue as I have it 100% of the time as it’s on my key ring. It came directly from Spyderco incredibly sharp and ready for use. The best way to describe this knife is that a premium Spyderco knife shrunk down. It locks firmly with no blade wobble and functions perfectly. It’s not a toy or novelty, it’s a real knife.

Tiny Spider
Supers small, but high quality. This very small knife is good for opening letters, boxes and sharpening carpenter pencils. Has the same quality as their larger, light weight models, but in a nail clipper size. Gave one to my father in law for Chirstmas as the pocket knife he was carrying was dull and of low quality.

Small size, big performance
The Spyderco Manbug gets carried often on my key chain, and it performs well enough that I don't see the need to carry a bigger knife in a typical city or suburban environment, unless you're looking for something more "tactical." Whether opening packages or doing food prep, I find that the blade is big enough for the task. The handle is big enough for a solid three finger grip, the texture provides adequate traction, and the ergonomic shape fits the hand well. And yet, this knife is light enough that I don't even notice it in my pocket. The full flat grind allows the knife to slice deeply with minimal friction. I also have the Ladybug Salt H1 knife, and the Manbug beats it hands down in slicing performance, despite being practically identical in size. The VG10 steel takes and holds a sharp edge well, and has decent corrosion resistance. The blade is quick to deploy with one-handed opening, and the lockback mechanism holds it open securely. There are two minor issues which could be improved upon. The deployment hole edges were too sharp for my liking, which I fixed with a diamond rod. Also, the handle was too square around the edges compared to the Ladybug, meaning it was noticeably less comfortable, and would cause hot spots and blisters during hard use. I fixed that problem by smoothing the handle around the edges with some steel wool. Then there's also the bigger Spyderco issue of uneven grinds on the blade. Of the several Spyderco knives I own, all of them have uneven grinds, and this one is no exception. When other knife makers like Victorinox can get perfect blade grinds for half the price, I find the sloppy grinds from Spyderco unacceptable. So my practically new Manbug went to the sharpening stone to fix that defect. At least this one had the blade well centered, unlike some of the others. With that said, I still find the Manbug to be the most competent and capable key chain knife I've seen. The design is well thought out, and the construction is solid. With some basic tools, the nagging imperfections can be smoothed out, and I'm pleased with the resulting product.

My first Spyderco!
I’ve been a semi knife enthusiast for many years and have tried and collected Gerber (German and USA, and Japanese) Case, Buck, Victronox Wenger, Kershaw etc. But I have never tried a Spyderco, well until my tiny Gerber USA folder vanished. I’m in awe of the blade sharpness out of the box, and though so tiny I could not get this knife to flex or bend or break the lock in anyway. And I’m a strong individual by freak genetics, I love the pattern on the glass filled handle and even with my huge hands I can open it with one hand. It’s the size of a gentleman’s Swiss Army knife but with a much thicker and capably blade. Honestly I’m blown away buy the fit and finish even though it’s not cheap it’s built world class and can definitely do heavier tasks a bigger knife can. Now I want to get a bigger Spyderco for heavier work and whittleing. Colour me impressed! If you want the best and toughest and most capable ‘tiny’ knife look no further. And the Japanese make one hell of a blade, I have Shen kitchen knives that are 12 years old and have never been sharpened and are as sharp as they were from day one. I also have the 25 year old Japanese ‘silver knight’ pictured that you could still shave with. My all time leader though is my serrated a Wenger 8 inch kitchen utility knife that is 30 years old and is used everyday and is still sharp! Let me say also that the person who said the handle flexes and looks like a 1.99 handle- well you got a fake I’m sorry. What impresses me about this knife is how tough this little buggger is, and I can’t move or bend the handle one micron under my considerable strength. It seems even stronger than bone or steel, definitely a high grade handle material in harmony with the other excellent materials. Probably to late now, but if you can flex that handle a micron it’s not genuine.
