I love this label maker. I use it mostly to label clothing items for dance performances for my kids. The white tape sticks great to just about any surface I need it to. The clear also sticks okay, but not as good as the white. The other color I’ve tried is gold and it does NOT stick well at all. Haven’t tried any other colors so can’t speak on those.

The sensor only detects the transparent tape if I get the tape tight on the sensor. When I close the lid, the sensor doesn't detect the transparent tape and turns from a solid green LED to flashing red. 🟢🔴😡📼 I had to keep pulling because while the tape is transparent, the peel-off backing is translucent. The leading tape is transparent which is confusing. Eventually, I pulled past the transparent to get to translucent peel-off backing tape. 🫤

So far so good. I don't have a lot of needs for this printer and tape so I'm looking forward to seeing if the adhesive will still be good in a year or two.
