What ingredients other than zinc do these contain?

Lots of waxes. Zinc is one of the last ingredients

Will this smear or does it dry if you let it sit long enough?

It will smear. My son wore it during 6 hours of junior life guard camp, applying it at the beginning of each day. By the end of the day, it was on his rash guard and towel and still coming off onto his hands, towel etc. If you have concerns with the color on your towels or clothing then I would buy a different sun protection product. The product smears on the clothing and towels (white towel) did come out in about 3 washes. The kids loved using it though. Hope this helps you decide :).

Is this product intended to be used as a sunscreen?

I apply it in addition to sunscreen: to the nose, cheek bones and forehead as an added layer of sun protection and the kids think it makes them look cool.

Does this expire? Thinking of ordering, but summer will be ending soon so it may need to be used more next summer...

I do not see an expiration date on the individual tubes.
