Roseanne for president.
This book, Roseanne's third, may be her best yet. The first two, "My Life as a Woman" and "My Lives" are also brilliant and entertaining but "Roseannearchy" is her most honest. I was thirteen when her sitcom "Roseanne" came out in 1988 and I knew then that Roseanne Barr was a creative genius...she knew what real people were like and could accurately and creatively write and portray them on TV, which I had never seen before (have I since..? Hmmm...) As an adult, discovering her books has made me realize that she is a brilliant thinker and all-around amazing woman. If you are a thinking, feeling person then you MUST READ all three of her books, not just this one!

Roseanne Barr reveals her brilliance
Quite simply, I have fallen in Love with this amazing woman. I want to know more about her - FROM HER. I connected with Roseanne at the deepest levels of experiences and knowledge and pain. I like to think that I can hear her buoyant laughter in the wind, and I like to believe that she will live a long long fulfilling life. The world will be better for it. Thank you Roseanne Barr for your gifts and for giving them to the world in many astonishing ways.

An Intense Self-Portrait
Roseanne is unusually bright and talented in many ways, including being an effective writer. The book is mainly autobiographical. Much of it is entertaining, and all of it is interesting--so interesting that I read it in a few days and often thought about her when I wasn't reading it. She has endured difficult relationships throughout her life, and this book comments on many of them.In places, the book is so funny I laughed out loud, but she also discusses her challenges. Despite fame and fortune, her life has not been easy. She seems to have a good understanding of what she has been through and done. Now she is trying to live a calmer life with a man who is interested in philosophy and music. The book caused me to feel sympathy and compassion for her, and I hope she gets some peace of mind.

Great talent. Connors is lacking, the heart. Rip out the heart, the vehicle dies
I have been a great supporter of Roseanne, in good times or bad. A national treasure whose thinking and transparency, would have made an extrodinary president. We well might have seen peace and end to hunger in our times. Sadly, she is so often demeaned, for being an honest human being.

Meh.
I love her! However, this is not a well written book. Its hard to follow because she gets off topic and tends to ramble about things that have nothing to do with or add to the story that she is *trying to tell.

Wonderful writing and a great story
Roseanne Barr shows herself to be a wonderful writer in this crafty telling of her life story from the perspective of her current menopause years. I read it in two sittings. She makes herself out to be a spectacle while at the same time coming across as very relatable. She also has some pretty brilliant common sense for our world woven into this narrative. I loved this book.

Enough already
I've always loved Roseanne and looked forward to her new book. It turns out to be such a bitter rant that the bulk of it became unreadable for me. Yes, Roseanne, you are special and chosen and many good things. But that doesn't mean most everybody else has no redeeming value other than to be fodder to be pierced by your sharp-edged tongue. Save your money on this one folks. If you must see for yourself, try the kindle sample first. That's where the funniest parts are anyway. I'm halfway through and too bored to continue.
