Can a marantz cinema 50 powering only the center and 2 surrounds, l/r on external amp, power the r300 to get the most out of the speaker?

I have a 20” wide hole theater cabinet. the blacks and sides are sealed. should this work despite the port? should i “open” the cabinet in the rear?

Can this center take a full 200watts from an external amp that bridges at 200watts x1 into 8 ohms?

Most of the time when a two channel amplifier is operated in bridged mode there is an increase in crossover notch distortion. Most amplifiers sound best when left unbridged.

Small center channel, extra clear sound!

Upgraded My Amp for ATMOS - Old Center Speaker Too Muddy

Got rid of my older Polk Audio center speaker for this newer technology - WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The front sound scape is now amazing in detail and I can now hear dialogue so much better. It matches my other Polk speakers in my 7.2.2 setup. This will improve any setup - I'm quite sure. ATMOS is amazing - loving this speaker and the enhancement to our movie nights.

NOT wall mountable

This speaker is definitely NOT wall mountable. There is no mounting hardware or bracket of any kind included. The speaker itself is heavy, and approximately 6+ inches in depth. The speaker wire terminal on the back sticks out about half an inch, making a flush wall mount completely impossible.
