I have looked for 2 years to replace my ancient canvas and leather bag that had been around the world 2x. Nothing was suitable. Til i found this bag, which was 1/3 of the price of my original. . It is classy, light, affordable. Roomy. Handles are long enough to use over the shoulder without the detachable shoulder strap (certainly for women, & i'm 5'7"). It is water proof with the oiled canvas. Forget all the description about wrinkles, it just is not an issue. Sides expand when you undo the side hooks. Zipper is sturdy, with 2 pulls. Outside pocket is good. Handles are sewn in with sturdy stitching. AND bottom has metal feet to protect the canvas and leather: this is critical! It is very safari/serious useful looking, so if you want froufrou, go elsewhere. But if you travel a lot and understand what your bags need to do, try this one. I love love it. And seriously, it is a great bargain and would be at double the cost.

Took this bad boy to Petra in Jordan. Able to fit a good spread of clothes and camp items. Holds its shape well, and has good quality clips.

Great quality & haptic experience; thick leather and canvas. Ergonomic handles, supported by leather strips across sides. Sturdy, stain repellent lining, the right set of pockets in the right places. Good zippers.Wished the bottom was leather, it's canvas on metal feet.

High quality bag. The waxed canvas looks great. The workmanship is great. The only fault is the ID tag closure snap broke when first opening it.

I bought this for my sons trip to Costa Rico. He saw a similar one at Tacova’s for $350. That’s a ridiculous NO. This one is just as nice, stylish, rugged and gets the worn in look guys like. Great purchase so far. Will see when he returns if it holds up - should for $100

I've become a big Polare fan lately. I wanted something fairly reasonably priced for my nephews birthday. I wanted to give him something of value that he can use as he is getting older besides getting him a video game or something. This duffle bag is a great fit. It's only 70 bucks and it really looks alot more expensive in person. It has the waterproof canvas exterior and high quality leather accents on the trim. Very classy looking bag for travel. It also has tons of compartments inside which is a nice touch. Well done.

I bought a set of Thursday boots that fit smaller than my previous pair.This actually work and stretched them about half a size.

This arrived super quick and is very well made! It was purchased for my husband’s trip to Germany and it easily held all of his clothes for a full week. On the trip over, it was perfect for overhead placement, as a carryon and on the return flight, he checked it and it handled the rough handling of the baggage people. The zipper is strong and a heavier duty type. Highly recommend. The pictures shown are very accurate on he construction and material of the duffle bag.
