Great book
I love all of Carol Drinkwater's books about her olive farm and this one didn't disappoint at all. Great writing - you feel as though you're living there too and sharing the highs and the lows.

excellent
Cleaning out my bookshelves, I re-dsicovered the previous "Olive" books and then found "Return to the Olive Farm" on Amazon. I didn't realize another in the series had been written. Carol's committment and perserverance for organic farming is commendable. I have now ordered "The Illustrated Olive Farm" as sggested by another reviewer. Carole is an excellent writer and although I am not usually a fan of fiction, I may try one of her novels.

Beautiful
I loved this book. It is heartfelt and funny. You get to experience the complex real estate process and ups and downs of becoming a farmer as well as the magnificent beauty that is Southern France in the summer. I love the simple wonder of discovering all the magic of unwrapping an abandoned olive farm and then to watch it flourish. I can't wait to read the next book! I love Carol Drinkwater's writing style. If you love Olives then check out her wonderful documentary series called the Olive Route.

Disappointing
I found this book disappointing and nowhere near as interesting as her earlier books about the olive farm.

Disappointing.
This is disappointing, because I loved her other books and especially the audiobooks read by Carol Drinkwater herself. But, this one is boring, and mainly concerned with environmental problems and world issues on farming and bees, etc., which are important, but not what I wanted to read about in this series. In fact, I put it aside after 3 chapters and have not resumed it.
