I have a 4.5 quart mixer, stainless steel bowl, and the shield fits perfectly and snugly.Keeps ingredients you add inside the bowl, not on your counter or floor.Clear shield lets you see how things are going inside while keeping mess to a minimum.Highly recommended.

Works great! But not with dough hook
The media could not be loaded. Works great, locks in place, I love the coverage so things don't go flying out of the bowl. The only critique is that it does not fit with the dough hook. But other than that it's wonderful

Bakers need this.Got it for my girlfriend because she loves baking. It stops the powders from kicking back up at her. Works very well. Fits good and locks on and is stable. Very easy to remove.It’s also cheap and kitchen aide name brand. I recommend.

Great accessory for Kitchenaid mixers
Great accessory for Kitchenaid mixers. When making full batch recipes it prevents ingredients from climbing out of the bowl and provides a shoot for adding to the mixture without having to raise the mixer from the bowl.

So glad I didn't go with a knock off
Just make sure that you get the right size. This one fit perfectly. It is very easy to attach and detach. It's sturdy and the spout allows you to add ingredients as you go. It costs a bit more than the knock offs, but it is very well designed. Definitely worth it.
