fixed window issues
My drivers side control would not work the passenger side window. This fixed it. If you have similar issue where a window will work at the door, but not from the drivers door, this will likely fix it. From the other reviews, it appears to be a common problem. The video on installation (Utube) showed you taking a screwdriver, or I would use plastic, prybar to remove the cover on the door handle. Unscrew the 2 10mm bolts and remove. Pry up the pad containing the swithches from the front of the pad (toward engine). The video showed taking the whole switch out. I did not do this as it was easier to unclip (by squeezing) the two wire connectors and then spreading the sides of the housing (two clips on each side) to remove just the problem part. Snap it back in and you're done. I can see why some of the reviewers said that you can just clean the contacts and the switches will work again. It's really easy enough to get out. I could have also bought a GM knockoff for half the price, but I only wanted to fix this once. I could see buying the knockoff, as it was REALLY easy to replace. Now I can control all my windows and peace has returned to the valley. I was really worried that I would have to take off the door panel, but this was great.

Worked perfect
Was not %100 sure on this part. But after being cheap for too many years, I bought this to replace the oem switch in my 2008 2500 LTFit perfect, works perfect.

Gave it 4 stars because when I received it one of the switches was kicked off to the side, I had to force it to snap it back into place and it was shipped that way there was no damage to the package but other than that it works perfectly, on my model it was plug and play no programming necessary but if you have heated seats, power seats and all that fluffy stuff you will have to take it to the dealership and have it programmed to the vehicle

Genuine ACDelco Part, however....
The description (and Amazon's thing) indicated this would fit my 2009 Silverado with power/folding mirrors and power door locks. I assumed they had separate switch assemblies under the panel It does not. Once I got in the door (takes all of five minutes, I should have looked before ordering) it's in fact all once switch assembly for everything, and this switch. So be advised, it will not fit, likely 2008 thru at least 2012 if you have those other options. Otherwise, it was a genuine AC/Delco switch, so no complaints about the switch itself. Just be sure of what your needing and if this is it or not.If you want to know how to get in there to check and change it, it's real simple. The little plastic decorative insert in the handle on the door will pop out if you can get something like a tiny screwdriver behind it, it just pops off. This exposes two 10mm screws that let you remove the handle. Then take that tiny screwdriver and that whole plastic piece the switch is in will pop off if you gently pry under the edge and all is exposed. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do, and probably save yourself $150 from the dealer labor charge.

perfect
Update 2016, 2 years later. Rear window switches getting fussy. I need to press harder and find the sweet spot to go down. Up is still the same, quick. Probably will clean the contacts soon. The part was exactly OEM. It improved all my window operations as well as the inop ones. I have a Chevy 2010 HHR, I used a T-27 star bit to remove two screws on the armrest covering the switches. A little wiggle to the rear where you can pull it out from under a little lip attached to the front of the cover (unit). Turn over and remove two connectors (press to unlock) The best part was I used 4 (four)plastic, pointy at one end dental picks to slip between the snap locks holding the switch in the cover.Worked like a champ and I slipped the switch out no problem or struggle. Slipped the new one in till it snaps locked in. Plug in the connector, they will snap lock. Slip back into armrest (front lip first) and test. Two Screws back in and your done. Remember, the window lock feature is for the rear windows when you test it. (childproofing) Thank you Amazon!
