My husband has bloat, gas, and acid reflux when he eats junk food. I gave him 3 of these pills when he was in alot of pain and within 30 minutes he was feeling better. Most acid reflux is caused by low acid in your stomach because your stomach is not digesting food. He now takes 2 every time he eats now he is feeling great and no more bloat, pain, burping and acid reflux. If you have an ulcer do not take this because it will burn your ulcer and make things worse. For ulcer drink cabbage juice for 14 days and it should heal your ulcer. God Bless

Mentioned reflux to my doctor and he put me on Protonix (Pantoprazole). After a few weeks my reflux was worse and my rosacea flare ups were the worst I've ever had (this is going back 20 years). Stopped the Protonix and started taking this Betaine HCL/Pepsin and it seems to be helping. I'm still ramping up dosage (up to 6 capsules at dinner), which I think my be my max, some discomfort and what appears to be acid reflux so will scale back. I believe I have what is considered "silent reflux" which does not generate the burning from acid reflux, but a phlegm/cough throughout the day. It appears this can be caused by too little stomach acid, so the HCL seems to be helping. Regarding rosacea, there is information that indicates that low stomach acid may cause skin problems like rosacea. The HCL seems to helped reduce my flare ups following the Protonix issue mentioned above. I believe rosacea is triggered primarily from GI/stomach issues and hope to see further improvement with the HCL going forward. I give 4 stars only because I have only been taking for a few weeks but could update to a 5 star at a later date.

I love their product as it has no junk fillers in their supplements. Yes, could be pricy but I trust the quality. My stomach acid has been low for the longest and with the help of this HCL I have been able to bring it to a normal level. I take 1-2 cap before a heavy protein meal- sometimes I forget to take it before and take it when I remember (right in the middle or after I finish my meal). One has to work around with HCL to find out how many cap is needed. I have taken about 6-8 cap throughout the day and this was when the acid level was very low. Now I feel more stabled.

I started taking mounjaro a couple of months ago to control my sugar. It gave me very sour stomach when I ate. I take one of these with my food, and I sometimes combine it with papaya enzymes... but it has helped my digestion! I feel like a new person. I've been having digestion issues as I have started aging, and this has helped me better process food in my stomach. I have to eat differently now, and I have to be careful of what I eat, but this pill has given me the ability to occasionally eat dairy again! I can't eat it everyday, but the occasional times I do eat it now, I can prevent miserable heartburn and having to sleep in a chair! It's really done wonders in my life.
