A great head torch
Dry comfortable to wear and with a bright light. Easy to adjust the brightness of the torch. Not too heavy to wear either.

Happy customer, fab product
Bought to wear when doing cross stitch at night without having to use main light. Is super bright, feels comfortable and well worth the price!

Lightweight, and bright
Perfect for dogwalking, bright, easy to adjust, fits perfectly in my pocket. Should last well. Takes normal batteries which are easy to fit although I haven't had to change them as yet.The light on main beam is powerful, that is the only function I have had cause to use. The design is simple but it works. Easy to scroll through using the button to select the functionality required.I bought an extra to keep in the car in case of emergencies .

Superb value and performance. Comfortable for use all day.
We like these head torches so much that we have them in every vehicle and tool kit.We use other, leading-brand head torches for when you need to light a wide area outdoors (although these do well at that also), but where the Omeril head torches really come into their own is when working on equipment in poorly-lit areas or where there are shadows and you need that extra bit of brightness. The adjustable forward tilt is also very useful. They're excellent for distribution board work, and especially for close-in, fiddly work. We never use them on the low setting, and they'll last for a long day's continuous work, but with noticeable dimming towards the end of the day; so we sometimes change out the batteries if we're working very late. The 3xAAA batteries are so much more convenient than rechargeable batteries, as you can just keep on going and remove them at the end of a job to prevent corrosion. Changing the batteries is quick and easy - unlike some makes where you have to almost completely disassemble the torch for battery access. We also find the flashing third setting useful when walking outside in daylight to know when you're one press away from turning the torch off. They're also so lightweight and comfortable, that you just don't bother taking them off when you pause work for some reason. All in all, a brilliant (groan!) torch for the price. Highly recommended.

OK for casual use only but not for serious outdoor or all-weather use
Its hard to know how to rate this. On value terms its 4 stars out of 5 since its extremely reasonably priced. However on absolute quality grounds its 1 or 2 stars out of 5 since its really lacking. The use of AAA batteries feels very dated in a decade where even cheap items normally include rechargeable lithium batteries and USB cords. The construction of the lamp itself is fairly cheap with thin plastic, and critically there is so seal on the battery compartment meaning it is in no way waterproof and lacks an IP rating. It might potentially survive a few drops of water but is not going to stand up to serious rain, making it unsuitable for most serious outdoor pursuits. Despite offering three "modes" these are more for having the sake of features rather than serious thought as to usage - most headtorches offer some selection of beam width - tight and narrow or wide and broad - whereas this offers only a single light angle, and a flashing mode that I can't imagine anyone ever using on a headtorch, its epilepsy-inducing and has no functional use. If you just need the cheapest head torch you can find for exploring your own loft, then fine. But for any serious use, spend a little more and get something else.
