Weize 12V 100Ah TM LiFePO4 Lithium Battery, Built-in Smart BMS, Group 31 Deep Cycle Battery Perfect for Trolling Motor, RV, Solar, Marine, Overland/Van, and Off Grid Applications

I haven't had this long (~5 charges) but compared to lead-acid, what a difference! This is now my 50 lb thrust trolling motor battery and I couldn't be happier. Higher end batteries of this type can be several hundreds of dollars. This one was in the $250 range. It has a 10 year warranty, which is double most, but even if it lasts 5 years, that would bring it into the same price range of a couple of lead-acid batteries. A single charge lasts significantly longer than a lead-acid battery so I no longer worry about running my motor on '5', for fear of losing power before I'm done fishing. The weight is also about half, which is important in my 12' fiberglass boat. And charging, which often wasn't complete by the next morning, with a lead-acid while on fishing trips, is complete in the middle of the night with this LiFePO4. Note that this battery type requires special charging, but most chargers, even low end ones, now have this option. While this review mainly focuses on the advantages of LiFePO4 batteries, and not this brand, I haven't had it long enough to single out brand differences. I will say though that the price of this one stands out as do warranty and how solid it appears. I'll update this review if I learn more over time.UPDATE Jan. 2, 2025:I used this battery fishing lakes all summer and on several trips in the fall. It is still performing as well as it did when I got it and I have nothing but great things to say about it. For a trolling motor, pass on buying lead-acid and go LiFePO4. If the price remains good, this brand has my strong endorcement!

Great products. Customer service helped me out with a free replacement. Bought 2 12v batteries for my trolling motor. 1 the bms kept shutting off the battery. I'd have to jump start it to get power back. Sometimes once a trip, Sometimes 4 or 5. I contacted CS and they directed me to a couple test to do. After a few back and forth they sent me a brand new replacement. Ive had these batteries since March 2023. Bought an electric jack for my camper hitch. Works great! Definitely will get a battery for my camper next. Good company that backs it's products. I don't know why other had problems with CS.

These batteries work great! They are super light for the size. I would definitely make sure you use a lithium rated charger.

Do not buy this battery from this company. I purchased one roughly 6 months ago and have only used it a handful of times for my trolling motor and it is beginning to swell.I am past my return window with Amazon so I went ti the manufacturer. They said because I purchased from Amazon I need to reach out to them for support, but Amazon directs me to the manufacturer.That was the last email I received. I have emailed back 3 times since then asking about the manufacturer warranty with zero response.These are supposed to last years, and now mine is unusable and unsafe after less than one year and Weize will not even respond to me. I would have been better off getting a standard battery locally and instead I paid over double the price for something that only lasted a handful of times

Work perfectly. We used 3 in parallel with a Renogy solar setup in our scout troop trailer. Powers all the lights and vent fans and the Starlink we have connected with ease. Renogy solar charge controller shows the batteries operating perfectly and holding a charge.

I bought this as equivalent power lead acid are heavier and only last 2-3 years. I wanted to try lithium due to advertised number of cycles and 10 year warranty. Did not last one season before failure. Tried to force with high quality charger, battery would still not respond. Contacted Weize through their web site. 5 days of emails with them advising me to try tests I had already performed. When they said to test with a multimeter I responded I did not intend to buy equipment for more tests. When I stated I would be reviewing them on Amazon, they stopped requiring more information and I received a new battery 5 days later. I still like the light weight and hope this battery lasts longer.Update: Received replacement battery. Customer service worked hard to make situation work out. I live in the north so won't really know until spring if new battery lasts longer.

Work great and if something goes wrong they will send you another replacement. I have 3 100ah and 2 50ah. They need to come out with the Bluetooth that show the battery life next.

So far so good, I was using AGM batteries 130 AH and was going through the full charge in about 3 and half hours on my trolling motor 80 lbs thrust. I use anchor lock a lot, which uses GPS to hold the boat in one position no matter the direction of wind or the current is moving. The motor will hold position by speeding up and down and turn the boat accordingly.I got a great tip from a professional charter fisherman to switch over to lithium battery so I did my research and found that this battery was the best bang for the buck and had a great ratings. I don’t know why I waited so long, I can run 4 to 5 hours (same use) for 3 to 4 days before I have to charge the battery. You get Bluetooth reporting directly to your phone on the app provided by the manufacturer, I get all the rundown on the condition of my battery.
